Hill (ankle) wasn't spotted at Wednesday's practice, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Hill logged DNPs on Monday's practice estimate and Tuesday's walk-through, so the tight end's apparent absence Wednesday doesn't bode well for his chances of playing Thursday night against the Ravens. If Hill -- who was inactive for this past Sunday's win over the Falcons -- is unavailable versus Baltimore, Tanner Conner and Greg Dulcich would be in line to lead Miami's Week 9 TE corps.

Lewis signed with the Broncos' practice squad Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The 41-year-old is expected to provide depth at tight end, as Lucas Krull (foot) and Nate Adkins (knee) are both currently dealing with injuries. Lewis appeared in 17 games for the Bears in 2024, catching his lone target for two yards across 260 total snaps (209 on offense, 51 on special teams).

Palmer (knee/ankle) won't practice Wednesday, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.

Palmer, who hasn't practiced since exiting an Oct. 13 loss to the Falcons, has two more chances to get some work in before the Bills assign injury designations ahead of Sunday's game against the Chiefs. If Palmer remains out this weekend, Elijah Moore and Tyrell Shavers would continue to see added snaps alongside fellow WRs Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir.

As of now, the Broncos are not planning on placing Surtain (pectoral) on the injured reserve list, Luca Evans of The Denver Post reports.

Surtain is expected to miss four to six weeks after sustaining a pectoral injury during the Broncos' Week 8 win over the Cowboys. However, it doesn't appear as if Denver will place the star corner on IR, suggesting he could return sooner rather than later. While he's likely sidelined over the next couple of weeks, 2025 first-round pick Jahdae Barron is expected to have an increased defensive role as one of the team's top cornerbacks.

Durham went without a target while playing 32 of the Buccaneers' 58 snaps on offense in Sunday's 23-3 win over the Saints.

Durham logged 101 receptions over his final two collegiate seasons at Purdue, but he's seen sparse involvement in the passing game since entering the NFL as a fifth-round pick of Tampa Bay in 2023. Though he's played at least 20 percent of the snaps in every game this season while working as the No. 2 tight end behind Cade Otton, Durham has run just 19 routes while drawing one uncaught target.

The Bears signed Gardner-Johnson to their active roster Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Gardner-Johnson has now joined his third team this season, as he was cut by the Texans in late September and dropped from the Ravens' practice squad in mid-October. The veteran safety appeared in 16 regular-season games with the Eagles in 2024, recording 59 total tackles and 12 passes defended, including six interceptions. He will provide much-needed depth in the Bears' secondary, as Jaylon Johnson (groin), Kyler Gordon (groin/calf) and Terell Smith (knee) are all currently on injured reserve.

Falcons coach Raheem Morris said London (hip) will participate in Wednesday's walkthrough practice, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.

London and Michael Penix (knee) are both slated to practice Wednesday after having been sidelined for Atlanta's loss to the Dolphins in Week 8. Penix was limited in practice due to a bone bruise in advance of being ruled out for Miami, while London as a surprise inactive after having initially avoided a game-day injury designation, then being reclassified as questionable on Saturday. Morris said both London and Penix remain day-to-day in advance of Sunday's road matchup against the Patriots.

Shepard finished with an eight-yard reception on two targets in Sunday's 23-3 win over the Saints.

With the Buccaneers placing Mike Evans (collarbone) on injured reserve prior to Sunday's game and with Chris Godwin (fibula) ruled out for the third contest in a row, Shepard appeared primed to see an expanded role in the Tampa Bay passing attack in a favorable matchup with the Saints. That ultimately didn't come to fruition, as the Buccaneers cruised to an easy win thanks to four Saints turnovers that created short fields for quarterback Baker Mayfield, who dropped back just 27 times on the day. Shepard was one of just five Tampa Bay pass catchers targeted in the win, with none eclipsing 43 receiving yards. Shepard ended up playing just 41 percent of the offensive snaps in the victory, and his role could be downsized further if Godwin and/or Jalen McMillan (neck) are able to return following the Buccaneers' Week 9 bye.

The Vikings signed Wolford to their practice squad Wednesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

The 30-year-old from Wake Forest failed to make the Jaguars' initial 53-man roster in late August, but he's since found work in Minnesota. Wolford's last in-game NFL action came with the Rams in 2022, when he completed 38 of 62 pass attempts for 390 yards, three interceptions and one touchdown over three appearances.

Skowronek secured his lone target for a 13-yard reception in Sunday's 35-25 loss to the Packers.

The reception was Skowronek's first since Week 1, when he had a 22-yard touchdown catch in a win over the Jets. He played just 11 of the Steelers' 63 snaps on offense Sunday and remains buried on the depth chart at receiver behind DK Metcalf, Calvin Austin and Roman Wilson.
