The Bears signed Ford off their practice squad Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Ford has appeared in three games for the Bears this season, failing to record a stat across 36 defensive snaps. Now back with the active roster, he's expected to play a depth role on Chicago's defensive line in the Week 8 matchup against the Ravens.

Reynolds (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bengals.

Reynolds popped up on Friday's injury report as a DNP due to a hip issue, and the injury is severe enough for him to not travel with the team to Cincinnati. With Reynolds and Garrett Wilson (knee) both ruled out for Week 8, the Jets' wide receiver corps will consist of rookie fourth-rounder Arian Smith, Allen Lazard, Tyler Johnson and Isaiah Williams. The Jets are on a bye for Week 9, so Reynolds will have additional time to recover ahead of Week 10 against the Browns on Sunday, Nov. 9.

Carlson was elevated to the Bears' active roster Saturday, Chris Emma of 670TheScore.com reports.

The 28-year-old's elevation provides Chicago with depth at tight end, as Cole Kmet (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Ravens. Carlson played in the Bears' Week 4 win over the Raiders, failing to record an offensive stat across 15 total snaps (10 on offense, five on special teams). He's likely to have a depth role in Chicago's tight-end corps, playing behind Colston Loveland and Durham Smythe.

Jones (knee) was placed on the injured reserve list Saturday.

Jones didn't practice both Thursday and Friday due to a knee injury, and he'll now be forced to miss at least Chicago's next four contests after his placement on IR. While he's sidelined, expect Ozzy Trapilo to serve as the Bears' top reserve offensive tackle.

Gordon (groin/calf) was placed on the injured reserve list Saturday.

Gordon had already been ruled out for the Bears' Week 8 matchup against the Ravens, but he'll now be forced to miss the team's next four contests due to groin and calf injuries. The Washington product has appeared in just two games this season, recording six total tackles, including 1.0 sacks. Nick McCloud is expected to operate as Chicago's top slot corner until Gordon returns from injury.

Rucci was elevated to the Dolphins' active roster Saturday.

The Wisconsin product's elevation provides Miami with much-needed depth at tight end, as both Darren Waller (pectoral) and Julian Hill (ankle) are sidelined for Sunday's matchup against the Falcons. Rucci has yet to appear in an NFL game after posting 11 catches for 125 yards and no touchdowns during his final collegiate season in 2023.

Yankoff (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Monday night's matchup against the Chiefs, Tashan Reed of The Washington Post reports.

Yankoff likely sustained a hamstring injury during Friday's practice, and the issue now appears serious enough for him to miss Monday night's contest. The UCLA product has appeared in all seven of Washington's games this season, failing to record an offensive stat while playing 184 total snaps (140 on special teams, 44 on offense). While he's sidelined in Week 8, the Commanders' tight-end room will likely consist of Zach Ertz, John Bates and Ben Sinnott.

Zappe was elevated to the Browns' active roster Saturday.

Zappe's elevation to the Browns' active roster provides depth at quarterback, as Shedeur Sanders (back) will likely be a game-time decision for Sunday's matchup against the Patriots, per Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer. The Western Kentucky product started one game for Cleveland in 2024, completing 16 of 31 passes for 170 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. If Sanders is unable to play in Week 8, Zappe is expected to backup Dillon Gabriel.

Lewis (groin) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Titans.

The 30-year-old sustained a groin injury in Colts' Week 7 win over the Chargers and didn't practice all week, so it's no surprise that he'll be sidelined Sunday. Lewis is now in line to miss his first game of the season after posting seven total tackles, including 3.0 sacks, through Indianapolis' first seven contests. Rookie JT Tuimoloau is expected to serve as the Colts' top reserve edge rusher while Lewis and Samson Ebukam (knee) are both out in Week 8.

Hendrickson (hip) remains listed as questionable but is expected to play in Sunday's matchup against the Jets, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Although the 30-year-old sat out Friday's practice due to the hip injury, his absence for that session appears to be mostly maintenance-related. The veteran edge rusher remains an integral part of Cincinnati's defense, recording four sacks among his 15 total tackles to go with one forced fumble over six appearances this season.
