With Michael Penix recovering from a bone bruise in his knee, Cousins is "highly likely" to start against the Dolphins on Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

While Penix had his practice reps limited all week, Cousins was the one who worked with the first-team offense, which puts the veteran quarterback in line to make his first start of the 2025 regular season. Cousins started in the first 14 games of the 2024 regular season before Penix took over for the final three contests of the year. Cousins' lone appearance in 2025 came during the Falcons' Week 3 blowout loss to the Panthers, when he took over under center in the fourth quarter and completed five of seven passes for 29 yards.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network relays that Jackson (hamstring) may not be ready to return against the Bears on Sunday.

Jackson was able to practice in full Friday after opening the week with back-to-back limited sessions. However, Rapoport notes that the eighth-year quarterback ran the scout team during Friday's practice, an indication that Jackson may not be ready to return from a hamstring injury until the Ravens' Week 9 road clash against the Dolphins on Thursday. Official word on Jackson's status for Week 8 should be closely monitored prior to Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff; if he's inactive, then Tyler Huntley -- who was signed from the practice squad to the Ravens' active roster Friday -- would start against Chicago while Cooper Rush serves as the backup.

Dye recorded one tackle during Thursday's 37-10 win versus the Vikings.

Dye was a tackling machine during fellow linebacker Denzel Perryman's five-game absence with an ankle injury, but Dye played only 24 of the Chargers' 49 defensive snaps in Week 8, signaling his role may have shrunk with Perryman's return. He's probably not a strong IDP consideration in most leagues for a Week 9 matchup at Tennessee.

Oweh recorded three tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, during Thursday's 37-10 win versus the Vikings.

Oweh shrugged off a chip from tight end T.J. Hockenson and chopped down the arms of right tackle Walter Rouse on his way to bring down quarterback Carson Wentz late in the first half to help force a long field goal. He'll be hoping to keep up his positive momentum with his new team in Week 9 at Tennessee.

Mickens recorded two tackles (one solo) and an interception during Thursday's 37-10 win versus the Vikings.

Mickens was on the field for a season-high 36 defensive snaps in Week 8, and he made the most of his opportunity when quarterback Carson Wentz sailed a pass intended for wideout Justin Jefferson early in the fourth quarter. Fellow safeties Derwin James (ankle) and Tony Jefferson (hamstring) suffered injuries Thursday, so Mickens could be in line to see extra work again in Week 9 at Tennessee.

Rodgers recorded five tackles (all solo) in a Week 8 loss to the Chargers on Thursday.

Rodgers nearly had a much bigger performance, but what initially appeared to be a first-quarter pick-six was deemed incomplete upon review. He did, however, manage to tie his season-high mark in tackles.

Mack recorded two tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, during Thursday's 37-10 win versus the Vikings.

Mack brought down quarterback Carson Wentz in the middle of the third quarter to force a Minnesota punt, and he now has a sack in each of the last three games he's played in. He projects to get more opportunities to rush the passer in Week 9 against a pass-dependent Tennessee attack.

Greenard finished with six tackles (five solo), including 1.0 sacks, Thursday in a loss to the Chargers.

Though Los Angeles had a big game on offense, Greenard made some impressive stops, including three that went for a loss. One of those tackles was a second-quarter sack of Justin Herbert. Greenard has 2.0 sacks through seven games on the campaign.

Eboigbe recorded three tackles (two solo), including 2.0 sacks, during Thursday's 37-10 win versus the Vikings.

Eboigbe was one of the key drivers of a pass rush that sacked Minnesota quarterback Carson Wentz five times in Week 8, and he picked up his third and fourth sacks of the year. The Chargers will be on the road in Week 9 to take on a pass-dependent Tennessee offense with an unimpressive offensive line.

Allen posted five tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, in a loss to the Chargers on Thursday.

Allen made a pair of nice plays early in the fourth quarter, assisting on a tackle of RB Kimani Vidal for a one-yard loss and then sacking Justin Herbert three plays later. After going without a sack in each of his first five games, Allen now has 1.5 sacks over the past two weeks. His regular-season career high is 9.0 sacks, which he recorded in 2021 with Washington.
