The NFL announced Tuesday that Walker has been suspended for the first three games of the regular season, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

It's not immediately clear why Walker has been suspended, but it's worth noting that he was suspended for 12 games last year. The veteran defensive back hasn't played in a regular-season game since 2023 and is currently a free agent.

The Texans placed Hagen (undisclosed) on injured reserve Tuesday, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

Hagen is an undrafted free agent out of South Dakota State. The reserve offensive lineman is 6-foot-6 and 320 pounds. The Texans clearly valued the rookie's training camp production, as the choice to keep the young player on the active roster will give him a chance to return to the 2026 season after at least four games on IR.

Minkins (undisclosed) was waived from injured reserve with an injury settlement on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Minkins was not claimed off waivers and will now be waived off injured reserve with an injury settlement. The 24-year-old appeared in one preseason game for the Cardinals in 2026, recording two tackles (one solo) in the 42-38 loss to Green Bay on Aug. 28.

The Texans placed Smith (foot) on injured reserve Tuesday, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

The offensive tackle is set to miss four to six weeks with a torn plantar fascia tendon. Smith was carted off the field last Wednesday with the injury, making Trent Brown the Texans' starting right tackle for the Week 1 matchup with the Bills. Even if the 30-year-old Smith recovers quicker than his timeline predicts, the tackle will need to miss at least four regular-season games on IR (unless he works out an injury settlement with the team) before becoming eligible to return to the team's active roster.

Miami worked out King (undisclosed) on Tuesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Less than a week after getting cut from the Jets' injured reserve list, King is already getting checked out by other clubs. Over 14 total games with the Vikings and the Jets in 2025, King played almost exclusively on special teams, logging four total defensive snaps.

The 49ers placed Martin (hamstring) on injured reserve Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Martin had been dealing with a hamstring injury recently that will now force him to miss the start of the regular season unless he works out an injury settlement with the team. Otherwise, the 23-year-old will be sidelined for at least four games before he's eligible to be designated to return.

The Browns waived Coats (leg) on Tuesday.

Coats will go on waivers and enter free agency if unclaimed, which would allow him to sign with a team in need of depth in the secondary. The West Virginia product logged six tackles (five solo) and two pass defenses (including an interception) across two preseason games with the Browns.

Chicago signed Sanborn to the active roster Tuesday.

Sanborn signed a one-year deal to return to Chicago in mid-March but was released Sunday. However, the Bears had a quick change of heart and re-signed the veteran linebacker Tuesday. Sanborn will likely fill a rotational role on defense while also contributing on special teams.

Schrauth (knee) was a full participant in Tuesday's practice, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

The rookie fifth-rounder sprained his knee in early August and was unable to participate in the preseason. The reserve offensive lineman is now back in action and healthy for the regular season. Schrauth is set to be a reserve option at guard in case Ben Bredeson or Luke Goedeke must miss time during the 2026 season.

The Browns are set to sign Williams to their active roster, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Williams re-signed with the Cowboys in early March but was waived Sunday. He compiled 9.5 regular-season sacks over his first two years in the league but missed all of 2024 due to a knee injury and recorded just 1.0 sacks despite logging a career-high 469 defensive snaps last year. Williams will look to get back on track in what is likely to be a rotational role with the Browns this season.
