  • 49ers' Kyle Juszczyk: Misses practice Tuesday

Juszczyk (finger) is not practicing Tuesday, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.

Juszczyk has been dealing with a finger injury for the past month but was able to practice Monday, so his absence Tuesday is notable. It could also just be some sort of veteran management. The fullback has no fantasy value after averaging just 1.8 touches per game last regular season.

  • Saints' Kendre Miller: Exits practice Tuesday

Miller exited Tuesday's practice alongside trainers with an apparent injury, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

There's been no indication Miller is dealing with a serious injury, but his departure leaves just Audric Estime as the lone healthy running back behind Travis Etienne, as Alvin Kamara is still recovering from a sprained MCL in his knee. A third-round pick in 2023, Miller has appeared in just 21 career regular-season games, rushing 127 times for 497 yards (3.9 YPC) and three touchdowns.

  • Keon Coleman WR | BUF

Bills' Keon Coleman: Gets back on practice field

Coleman (right foot/toe) was present at Tuesday's practice, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.

Coleman sustained a sprained right foot/toe in the Bills' preseason opener Aug. 15, but he ditched his low walking boot as of last Thursday and now appears set to mix back into drills. He has nearly two weeks to get healthy ahead of a Week 1 road matchup with the Texans on Sunday, Sept. 13.

  • Khalil Shakir WR | BUF

Bills' Khalil Shakir: Still not practicing

Shakir (undisclosed) remains sidelined at Tuesday's practice, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.

Shakir was able to suit up for preseason Week 1 against the Panthers on Saturday, Aug. 15, hauling in both of his targets for 41 yards while playing eight offensive snaps. However, he's been out of drills since Aug. 20 and didn't suit up for the Bills' final two exhibitions due to an undisclosed injury. Buffalo opens the regular season on Sunday, Sept. 13 at Houston, giving him less than two weeks to get himself ready for game action.

  • Ty Johnson RB | BUF

Bills' Ty Johnson: Remains idle Tuesday

Johnson (lower leg) remains sidelined at Tuesday's practice, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.

Johnson exited practice in early August and has been dealing with some sort of issue in his leg for the better part of a full month now. He resumed running and sprinting last week. Turning 29 later this month, Johnson has carved out a role on game days with the Bills, but he's more of a nuisance than anything in fantasy. Even if James Cook were to go down with an injury, Johnson's role likely wouldn't change all that much, as Ray Davis is Cook's more direct backup as a rusher. Johnson has averaged just 3.9 touches per game over his 34 regular-season appearances dating back to the start of the 2024 campaign.

  • Bears' Luther Burden: Practicing Tuesday

Coach Ben Johnson said Burden (groin) will participate in Tuesday's practice, Zack Pearson of BearReport reports.

After suffering a groin injury during an Aug. 8 practice, Burden was expected to be sidelined for about one month, putting his availability for Week 1 in question. Since then, he missed the Bears' entire preseason slate but returned to individual drills last Wednesday. Chicago takes on the Panthers on the road in their regular-season opener Sunday, Sept. 13.

  • Kyle Monangai RB | CHI

    Bears' Kyle Monangai: Remains 'week-to-week'

Coach Ben Johnson said Tuesday that Monangai is "week-to-week" due to the right knee injury that he sustained in practice back on Sunday, Aug. 16, Chris Emma of 670TheScore.com reports.

Monangai was tackled from behind by Bears defensive tackle Grady Jarrett. Initially, Monangai's right knee was deemed to be structurally sound and the issue was termed a hyperextension, but he has yet to show much progress in his recovery. As a result, Monangai is in danger of being sidelined for the Bears' season opener Sunday, Sept. 13 at Carolina. Roschon Johnson would receive a bump in relevance behind D'Andre Swift in such a scenario.

  • D'Andre Swift RB | CHI

Bears' D'Andre Swift: Poised for big 2026

Coach Ben Johnson believes Swift is "primed for a big year" in 2026, Dan Wiederer of The Athletic reports.

"It's the best I've seen him this time of year," Johnson said last week. "You look back at a year ago, he was very explosive, and yet it takes a little while to gel between him and the offensive line. I think he's accelerating his vision here at this point. I think [RBs] coach [Eric] Studesville has been fantastic for him just with the reads and being able to know the intent of where we're trying to hit things. He bounces it when we're supposed to bounce it. He hits it right on spot when it's there, then he cuts it up. I think he's doing a really good job right now. We just got to get into that first week nice and healthy and ready to go. I think he's primed for a big year, though." With Kyle Monangai (knee) still considered week-to-week 12 days out from the regular season, Swift could have a huge role early in the season. Running behind one of the best run-blocking offensive lines in the league and in an offense that wants to score boatloads of points, Swift has big upside as a fantasy RB2.

  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Still awaiting clearance for all activity

Henderson continues to rehab a right ankle injury and hasn't been cleared for full participation in practice, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Henderson made an early departure from practice last Monday, which has sidelined him in the meantime. Reiss mentioned that Henderson was spotted in the locker room this Tuesday and seemed to be "walking normally," but the Patriots will take it easy on the second-year pro as a Week 1 road showdown with the Seahawks approaches next Wednesday, Sept. 9.

  • Alec Pierce WR | IND

Colts' Alec Pierce: Door still open for Week 1

Colts GM Chris Ballard said Tuesday the "hope" is Pierce (ankle) will play in Week 1 against the Ravens.

Pierce was on the practice field Tuesday, but it's unclear if he's truly been unleashed for full team drills as he makes his way back from offseason ankle surgery. He missed most of training camp and didn't see any preseason action, but the Colts remain optimistic their No. 1 receiver will be in the lineup in 12 days against Baltimore. Indy has other injury concerns in its passing game, with Pierce, Josh Downs (calf) and Tyler Warren (groin) all dealing with injuries, while 34-year-old Keenan Allen isn't yet up to speed after signing with the team two weeks ago.
