Ameer Speed CB | DAL
Ameer Speed: Lands on PS injured list
The Browns placed Speed (undisclosed) on the practice squad injured list Tuesday, per the NFL's transaction log.
It's unclear when Speed suffered the injury as he has not appeared in a single regular-season game in 2025. Nevertheless, he'll be required to miss the Browns' next four games at a minimum, which makes Week 10 against the Jets on Sunday, Nov. 9 the earliest he would be eligible to play.

Noah Fant TE | NO
Bengals' Noah Fant: Shut out in loss to Lions
Fant didn't draw a target while playing 15 of the Bengals' 62 snaps on offense in Sunday's 37-24 loss to the Lions.
Fant made his return to action Sunday after a concussion kept him out of the Bengals' Week 4 loss to the Broncos. The Bengals didn't necessarily ease Fant back in with a light workload, as he had logged just 17 and 18 snaps in his previous two appearances. He'll continue to handle a light role as a backup tight end while Mike Gesicki is fully healthy.

Owen Wright RB | HOU
Owen Wright: Signed to TB practice squad
The Buccaneers signed Wright to the practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Wright was unable to make the Buccaneers' 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but he has been invited back by Tampa Bay to be part of the practice squad. He could be elevated to the active roster for the Buccaneers' Week 6 clash against the 49ers on Sunday to give the team additional depth at running back if Bucky Irving (foot/shoulder) is not cleared to play.

Mike Gesicki TE | CIN
Bengals' Mike Gesicki: Another quiet game
Gesicki recorded two catches for 15 yards on five targets in Sunday's 37-24 loss to the Lions.
After turning in a big campaign in 2024 with 65 catches for 665 yards and two touchdowns, Gesicki hasn't gotten on track in five games this season. The addition of Noah Fant has cut into Gesicki's workload, and the Bengals have struggled as a whole offensively since Jake Browning stepped in at quarterback for the injured Joe Burrow (toe). Through five weeks, Gesicki has managed a poor 8-61-0 receiving line on 16 targets.

Cooper DeJean CB | PHI
Eagles' Cooper DeJean: Five stops in Week 5 loss
DeJean tallied five tackles (four solo) and one pass defense during the Eagles' 21-17 loss to the Broncos on Sunday.
DeJean was one of five Eagles players to play all 74 defensive snaps in Sunday's loss. The 2024 second-rounder has played every defensive snap and logged at least five tackles in each of the first five games of the regular season. DeJean is up to 36 tackles (26 solo) and five pass defenses to open the 2025 campaign.

Foye Oluokun LB | JAC
Jaguars' Foyesade Oluokun: Season-high 14 tackles in win
Oluokun recorded 14 tackles (seven solo) in the Jaguars' win over the Chiefs on Monday night.
Oluokun's 14 tackles marked a new season-high for the veteran linebacker, who has posted five straight 100-tackle seasons. He appears well on his way to a sixth, as Oluokun is up to 44 tackles (22 solo), including 1.0 sacks, two pass breakups, including one interception, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery on 97 percent of the defensive snaps through five games.

Samaje Perine RB | CIN
Bengals' Samaje Perine: Workload increasing
Perine carried four times for 27 yards and gained two yards on two receptions in Sunday's 37-24 loss to the Lions.
More importantly, Perine played 29 offensive snaps, good for 47 percent of the Bengals' offensive snaps. With top running back Chase Brown off to a slow start to the season, Perine might continue to cut into his snap share, especially when the Bengals are playing from behind.

Nick Bolton LB | KC
Chiefs' Nick Bolton: Dozen tackles in MNF loss
Bolton recorded 12 tackles (seven solo) and one pass breakup in the Chiefs' loss to the Jaguars on Monday night.
Bolton's 12 tackles easily paced the team, and it was his second game this season recording at least a dozen tackles. Through five games, Bolton has racked up 46 tackles (25 solo), including three TFLs, two pass breakups and one QB hit on 99 percent of the Chiefs' defensive snaps.

Terrel Bernard LB | BUF
Bills' Terrel Bernard: Logs six solo tackles Week 5
