Smith was acquired by the Seahawks from the Chargers on Sunday, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.

Smith went undrafted in 2026 but landed a deal with the Chargers. While he has an uphill climb before earning regular snaps in Seattle, he may move up the depth chart if he continues to impress heading into the 2026-27 campaign.

The Bears waived Wills (undisclosed) with an injury settlement Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Wills had been competing for the starting left tackle role but ended up losing out to Braxton Jones. The team could look to bring back Wills on its practice squad should he go unclaimed on waivers.

The Raiders traded Meredith and a 2029 seventh-round pick to the Jets on Sunday in exchange for a 2027 sixth-round pick, Ian Rapoport of ESPN and NFL Network reports.

Meredith started 19 games for the Raiders over the past two seasons. The center was replaced during the 2025 offseason by former Raven Tyler Linderbaum. Meredith will likely function as the primary backup to Josh Myers for the Jets throughout the 2026 regular season.

The Falcons waived Morris on Sunday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.

Morris was traded from the Chiefs to the Falcons earlier in the offseason, so him being let go comes as a surprise. The 25-year-old started 16 regular-season games across three seasons with the Chiefs and will now look to find a new opportunity with another team.

Patterson was traded to the 49ers from the Texans on Sunday, Tom Pelissero of Netflix reports.

Patterson was selected by the Texans in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He most recently appeared in all 17 regular-season games for Houston during the 2025 campaign, starting five of them. The 26-year-old will have an opportunity for snaps in San Francisco, especially with his versatility, though he should be considered a depth piece for now.

The Bills traded Van Pran-Granger and a 2027 seventh-round pick to the Colts on Sunday in exchange for a 2027 sixth-round pick, Tom Pelissero of Netflix reports.

Van Pran-Granger's spot as the Bills' backup center was set to be usurped by Lloyd Cushenberry. The Bills now get late-round draft capital for a cut candidate while the Colts obtain a reserve offensive lineman who is cap-controlled through 2027. The Georgia product will likely function as the primary backup to Tanor Bortolini throughout the 2026 season.

Tyson (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve with a designation to return by New Orleans on Sunday.

Tyson has had recurring issues with his right hamstring, and the most recent flare-up is expected to result in two months on the sideline, so Sunday's transaction comes as no surprise. He'll be required to miss at least the first four games of the season, but considering the aforementioned recovery timeline, he likely will be out beyond Week 5. During Tyson's absence, Devaughn Vele and rookies Bryce Lance and Barion Brown will have opportunities for targets behind top WR Chris Olave.

The Rams waived Johnson (undisclosed) with an injury designation Sunday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Johnson had signed with the Rams in February and could revert to the team's injured reserve should he clear waivers. The 2024 undrafted free agent will look to get healthy and make his regular-season debut at some point.

Grupe was waived by the Colts on Sunday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Grupe was in a competition with Spencer Shrader for the starting kicker role in Indianapolis this season, and he appears to have come up short. Grupe made two of four field-goal attempts during the preseason, while Shrader went a perfect 4-for-4 on field-goal tries. Grupe split his time between the Saints and Colts in 2025, going 29-for-37 on field-goal attempts, but he converted only five of 11 tries from 40-plus yards. He will now have to wait for his next chance to prove himself, and it's possible that he'll stick around as a member of the practice squad with Indianapolis.

The Cowboys waived/injured Rogers (knee) on Sunday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.

Rogers suffered an MCL sprain late in the preseason. The tight end will now be subject to waivers. If Rogers goes unclaimed, he will revert to the Cowboys' injured reserve list, where he will spend the entirety of the 2026 regular season unless he is waived with an injury settlement.
