Thomas was acquired by the Texans from the Cowboys on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Thomas was a fifth-round pick in 2024 by the Cowboys. He most recently played in all 17 games for Dallas in 2025, starting three of them. The 25-year-old will now move to Houston to join a questionable Texans offensive line heading into the 2026 campaign.

The Seahawks waived Hicks on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Hicks has now been waived by Seattle twice in the past two weeks after first signing with the team Aug. 17. The 26-year-old will look to catch on with another team and make his regular-season debut during the upcoming campaign.

Richardson remains on the 53-man roster for the Colts.

Richardson requested a trade over the offseason, but the Colts elected not to move him, and he remains part of the Indianapolis organization for the time being. It remains to be seen, though, if he or Riley Leonard will open as the backup behind starting signal-caller Daniel Jones.

The Texans cut Jordan (knee) on Sunday, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Jordan suffered a knee injury in early August that prevented the tight end from participating in any preseason games or activities. The tight end's injury is likely one of the main reasons he was unable to make the Texans' initial 53-man roster. Jordan is now a free agent and will be able to sign with any team's 53-man roster or practice squad as soon as he regains his health.

The Steelers waived Mason on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Mason was facing an uphill battle to earn a roster spot as he had only joined this team earlier this month after being claimed off waivers. The rookie undrafted free agent spent time earlier this offseason with the Seahawks and will now look to catch on with another team.

The Chiefs waived Pline on Sunday, Sam McDowell of The Kansas City Star reports.

Pline participated in the Chiefs' preseason opener and finale but did not record a target in either contest. The tight end has yet to appear in an NFL regular-season game. Pline will now be placed on waivers, and if he clears will become a free agent able to sign with any franchise.

Restrepo has made the Titans' initial 53-man roster, Arye Pulli reports Sunday.

Restrepo appeared in two games for the Titans in 2025 as a practice-squad elevation, totalling three receptions for 41 yards. The fan favorite has earned a place in the depths of the wide receiver corps and will likely have a shot to mix into starting packages throughout the regular season. Restrepo caught eight of his 13 targets for 97 yards over the Titans' three preseason games.

Lance has won the Chargers' backup quarterback job, Matt Zenitz of CBSSports.com reports.

Lance will serve as the team's top reserve option behind starter Justin Herbert for the second straight season. The former completed 22 of 38 passes for 237 yards while also adding nine carries for 91 yards over the team's three preseason contests. Lance will ultimately get the nod over DJ Uiagalelei for the No. 2 role this season, and it's possible that new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel finds creative ways to get the dual-threat Lance more involved in the game plan in 2026.

McCarthy (ankle) remains on the 53-man roster for the Vikings, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

There was talk leading up to cut-down day that McCarthy could be traded or even released, but he will remain with Minnesota for the time being. Kyler Murray will open the season as the starting quarterback for the Vikings, and either McCarthy or Carson Wentz will back him up.

Osborn was released by the Titans on Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Osborn was selected by the Vikings in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He had a few productive years in Minnesota, though he most recently appeared in seven regular-season games for the Patriots in 2024-25, when he caught seven passes (18 targets) for 57 yards and one touchdown. Osborn has plenty of NFL experience, so there's a chance he will find a new team. However, even if that happens, his statistical ceiling is limited.
