Alohi Gilman SAF | LAC
Chargers' Alohi Gilman: Nursing hamstring injury
Gilman (hamstring) did not participate in Wednesday's practice.
Gilman played 40 defensive snaps and logged one pass defense during the Chargers' 30-23 loss to the Ravens this past Monday. However, the fifth-year safety may have picked up a hamstring injury in the process, which forced him to be sidelined for Wednesday's practice. Gilman will have two more chances this week to return to practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Falcons.

Tyler Higbee TE | LAR
Rams' Tyler Higbee: Practice window opens
The Rams designated Higbee (knee) for return from the reserve/PUP list Wednesday.
This transaction follows comments from head coach Sean McVay on Tuesday that Higbee was in line to return to practice this week, per Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com. At the same time, McVay relayed that Higbee is unlikely to play Sunday at New Orleans. The Rams will likely take a cautious approach with Higbee, who suffered ACL and MCL tears in his right knee back on Jan. 14 in a playoff loss in Detroit. With his 21-day window in which to get back on the active roster opened, he's drawing closer to making his season debut.

David Long ILB | DET
Lions' David Long: Signed to active roster
The Lions signed Long off their practice squad Wednesday.
Long was released by the Dolphins on Nov. 13 and signed with Detroit's practice squad five days later. He played 13 defensive snaps in his Lions debut last week against the Colts and now joins the active roster. Long has 76 career regular-season games of experience, including 49 starts.

Arthur Maulet CB | BAL
Ravens' Arthur Maulet: DNP on Wednesday's estimation
Maulet (calf/knee) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimation.
Maulet has missed the Ravens' last two games due to a calf injury, and Wednesday's estimated DNP suggests he could be sidelined for additional time. The veteran corner has appeared in just three games this season, recording five total tackles. He'll likely miss Baltimore's Week 13 matchup against the Eagles if he can't upgrade to limited practice participation Thursday or Friday.

Kyle Van Noy MLB | BAL
Ravens' Kyle Van Noy: Estimated as DNP
Van Noy (hamstring/neck) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimation.
Van Noy played 29 defensive snaps and recorded two total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, in Monday night's win over the Chargers. However, it now appears he sustained hamstring and neck injuries in the process. The veteran pass rusher will likely need to practice in a limited capacity Thursday or Friday in order to suit up in Week 13 when the Ravens host the Eagles.

Will Anderson Jr. DE | HOU
Texans' Will Anderson: Doesn't practice Wednesday
Anderson (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.
After missing the Texans' Weeks 10 and 11 contests with the ankle injury, Anderson returned last Sunday against the Titans and logged 2.0 sacks on 51 percent of the defensive snaps. As long as he didn't suffer a setback with the ankle, Anderson should be able to play through it again this Sunday versus Jacksonville.

Charlie Jones WR | CIN
Bengals' Charlie Jones: Still dealing with groin injury
Jones (groin) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Kelsey Conway of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Jones missed the Bengals' last three games due to a groin injury. The Week 12 bye appears to have helped his recovery process as he was able to log a limited practice Wednesday. Jones will have two more chances to increase his practice participation ahead of Sunday's game against the Steelers.

Teagan Quitoriano TE | HOU
Texans' Teagan Quitoriano: Limited on Wednesday
Quitoriano (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice.
Quitoriano dealt with a calf issue earlier this season, but the knee injury is a new one. He's played 22 percent of the offensive snaps across seven games since rejoining the Texans on Oct. 8. Quitoriano has yet to draw a target in the pass game and is mostly used as a blocker.

Emari Demercado RB | ARI
Cardinals' Emari Demercado: Tending to back injury
Demercado was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice due to a back injury, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Demercado dealt with a shoulder issue last week, but it didn't stop him from suiting up in this past Sunday's loss at Seattle. While he matched fellow reserve back Trey Benson's nine offensive snaps, Demercado recorded a single carry versus the rookie's four. Per usual, James Conner led the way with 40 snaps and 12 touches for 49 yards from scrimmage. Assuming Demercado puts this new health concern behind him, he likely won't be afforded enough looks to produce any meaningful production in Sunday's game in Minnesota.
