McPhearson (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve by the Rams on Monday.

McPhearson signed with Los Angeles on Aug. 9, and he has recorded two total tackles over the team's two preseason contests to this point. The cornerback is now dealing with an undisclosed injury. He's set to miss the entirety of the 2026 campaign while on IR, unless he can reach an injury settlement with the Rams.

Bell (thumb) sat out of practice Monday, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports.

The offensive tackle is dealing with both thumb and leg issues, per Kubena. Bell put together a strong preseason performance against New England on Saturday and is considered a lock to make the Eagles' roster. As long as his injuries are minor, his status as the backup right tackle to Lane Johnson shouldn't change.

Jackson (undisclosed) was waived/injured by the Eagles on Monday.

The running back suffered an injury that forced play to be stopped for several minutes after the opening kickoff of Philadelphia's preseason game with New England on Saturday. Jackson left the field in an ambulance and had to be taken to a local hospital, but his CT scans came back negative. His status remains unclear, but if he can get healthy enough to play, he will need to reach an injury settlement with Philadelphia to have a chance to see the field in 2026.

Thomas (groin) was placed on injured reserve by the Rams on Monday.

Thomas suffered a groin injury in Saturday's 34-0 preseason win over the Saints, and he is now set to miss the entirety of the 2026 campaign while on injured reserve. The linebacker could play again this season if he reaches an injury settlement with Los Angeles, but if he doesn't, he'll have to shift his focus to being ready to go for training camp in 2027.

Rickert (knee) was waived/injured by the Rams on Monday.

The linebacker will revert to Los Angeles' injured-reserve list unless he's claimed by another team. If he lands on IR, he will need to reach an injury settlement with the Rams to have a chance to play in 2026. Rickert signed with LA as an undrafted free agent earlier in August.

Dedich (hand) passed his physical Monday.

The result indicates that the backup guard is ready to return to practice as the Rams' final preseason game approaches Thursday. Dedich was placed on the active/non-football injury list in late July. The third-year pro's return bolsters LA's offensive-line depth, as Dedich started 10 games, regular season and postseason, across his first two NFL campaigns.

Brinson has a calf injury that forced him to miss Green Bay's preseason win over Denver on Friday, Zach Jacobson of 247Sports.com reports.

The defensive lineman suffered the injury during pregame warmups, per Jacobson, who also reported that Packers coach Matt LaFleur said that Brinson would remain sidelined for "a little bit of time." It's unclear if the rotational tackle will miss the start of the regular season, but it seems clear enough that he'll be out through the end of the preseason.

The Steelers signed Guilbeau (undisclosed) to a contract Monday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.

Guilbeau signed with the Panthers in May as an undrafted free agent before being let go with a non-football injury designation in late July. He appears to have fully recovered from his undisclosed injury and will have the opportunity to audition in front of the Steelers' coaching staff for a spot on the 53-man roster or practice squad for the upcoming regular season.

Iheanachor (shoulder) returned to practice with the Steelers on Monday, Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com reports.

Iheanachor was able to practice for the first time since suffering a shoulder injury Aug. 6. The 2026 first-round pick now has a chance to play in Thursday's preseason finale versus Buffalo.

Herring (undisclosed) was waived by the Browns from injured reserve with an injury settlement Monday.

The move means Herring will be eligible to sign and play with a team once he has fully recovered from his undisclosed injury. The Delaware product did not see regular-season action in his rookie year after signing with the Packers as an undrafted free agent in May 2025.
