Thomas (groin) was placed on injured reserve by the Rams on Monday.

Thomas suffered a groin injury in Saturday's 34-0 preseason win over the Saints, and he is now set to miss the entirety of the 2026 campaign while on injured reserve. The linebacker could play again this season if he reaches an injury settlement with Los Angeles, but if he doesn't, he'll have to shift his focus to being ready to go for training camp in 2027.

Rickert (knee) was waived/injured by the Rams on Monday.

The linebacker will revert to Los Angeles' injured-reserve list unless he's claimed by another team. If he lands on IR, he will need to reach an injury settlement with the Rams to have a chance to play in 2026. Rickert signed with LA as an undrafted free agent earlier in August.

Dedich (hand) passed his physical Monday.

The result indicates that the backup guard is ready to return to practice as the Rams' final preseason game approaches Thursday. Dedich was placed on the active/non-football injury list in late July. The third-year pro's return bolsters LA's offensive-line depth, as Dedich started 10 games, regular season and postseason, across his first two NFL campaigns.

Brinson has a calf injury that forced him to miss Green Bay's preseason win over Denver on Friday, Zach Jacobson of 247Sports.com reports.

The defensive lineman suffered the injury during pregame warmups, per Jacobson, who also reported that Packers coach Matt LaFleur said that Brinson would remain sidelined for "a little bit of time." It's unclear if the rotational tackle will miss the start of the regular season, but it seems clear enough that he'll be out through the end of the preseason.

The Steelers signed Guilbeau (undisclosed) to a contract Monday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.

Guilbeau signed with the Panthers in May as an undrafted free agent before being let go with a non-football injury designation in late July. He appears to have fully recovered from his undisclosed injury and will have the opportunity to audition in front of the Steelers' coaching staff for a spot on the 53-man roster or practice squad for the upcoming regular season.

Iheanachor (shoulder) returned to practice with the Steelers on Monday, Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com reports.

Iheanachor was able to practice for the first time since suffering a shoulder injury Aug. 6. The 2026 first-round pick now has a chance to play in Thursday's preseason finale versus Buffalo.

Herring (undisclosed) was waived by the Browns from injured reserve with an injury settlement Monday.

The move means Herring will be eligible to sign and play with a team once he has fully recovered from his undisclosed injury. The Delaware product did not see regular-season action in his rookie year after signing with the Packers as an undrafted free agent in May 2025.

Williams is dealing with a pectoral injury and will be reevaluated at the end of the week, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports.

It's unclear when Williams sustained the injury, though it prevented him from playing in the Titans' 19-16 preseason win over the Seahawks on Sunday. He's been practicing with a non-contact jersey on, but given the recovery timeline, he's unlikely to play in Saturday's preseason finale against the Bears. If he indeed is held out against Chicago, then Williams will focus on being available for Week 1 against the Jets on Sunday, Sept. 13.

Thomas (hand) might be able to play in Seattle's preseason finale versus Kansas City on Friday, Brady Henderson of ESPN reports.

The safety missed the Seahawks' preseason loss to the Titans on Sunday after having surgery during the week leading up to the game, per Henderson. Thomas has a chance at a roster spot if he can return soon, especially after rookie second-round pick Bud Clark broke his right ankle against Tennessee. Thomas can also add value on special teams, as he's played on at least 125 snaps in that capacity in all four of his NFL seasons.

Cousins is listed as the Raiders' top quarterback on the unofficial depth chart for Thursday's preseason game versus the 49ers, according to the team's official site.

With coach Klint Kubiak recently declining to formally name a starter, this depth-chart placement offers another sign that Cousins remains the leading option atop Las Vegas' quarterback room. Fernando Mendoza and Aidan O'Connell, in that order, appear to remain behind Cousins heading into the Raiders' final preseason contest. It's unclear if Cousins will see any action in that game.
