  • Taylor Decker OT | DET

Lions' Taylor Decker: Won't play Thursday

Decker (shoulder) has been ruled out for Detroit's matchup versus the Vikings on Thursday.

Decker has been playing through his shoulder injury since November but will now be forced to miss his first game of the campaign. Dan Skipper is in line to start at left tackle with Decker sidelined.

  • Amik Robertson CB | WAS

Lions' Amik Robertson: Good to go vs. Minnesota

Robertson (hand) is active for Thursday's game against the Vikings.

Robertson was able to play through a hand injury against the Steelers in Week 16, and the sixth-year pro will do so again Christmas Day. He has accumulated 31 tackles (25 solo), nine pass defenses and one forced fumble in the eight games since the Lions' Week 8 bye.

  • Tom Kennedy WR | DET

Lions' Tom Kennedy: Ready for Thursday's game

Kennedy (abdomen) is active for Thursday's game against the Vikings.

Kennedy was initially listed as questionable for Week 17, but he's been cleared to suit up Christmas Day. He'll handle his usual role as Detroit's top kick returner while also contributing as a depth option at wide receiver.

  • Brett Rypien QB | MIN

Vikings' Brett Rypien: Emergency QB for Week 17

Rypien (coach's decision) is inactive for Thursday's game against the Lions but will act as Minnesota's emergency No. 3 quarterback.

Rypien will get a chance to operate as the Vikings' emergency third-string quarterback with starter J.J. McCarthy (hand) ruled out for Thanksgiving Day. In order for Rypien to take the field, both Max Brosmer and John Wolford would have to be forced out versus Detroit due to injury, illness or ejection.

  • Lions' David Montgomery: Suiting up Thursday

Montgomery (illness) is listed as active Thursday in Minnesota.

Montgomery missed Tuesday's walkthrough due to an illness and followed it up with a limited walkthrough Wednesday before the Lions listed him as questionable for Week 17 action. Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reported Thursday morning that Montgomery was expected to suit up, which now has come to pass. Working solidly behind No. 1 RB Jahmyr Gibbs over the last six games, Montgomery has reached double-digit touches only once during that stretch en route to 241 yards from scrimmage and three rushing TDs on 43 touches.

  • Brian O'Neill OT | MIN

Vikings' Brian O'Neill: Not playing vs. Detroit

O'Neil (heel) has been ruled out for Minnesota's game versus the Lions on Thursday.

O'Neil managed to play through the injury during last week's win over the Giants but will be unable to do so against Detroit. In his absence, Walter Rouse should get the start at right tackle for Thursday's matchup.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Active in Week 17

St. Brown (knee) is active for Thursday's game at Minnesota.

Coach Dan Campbell told Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press on Tuesday that St. Brown was dealing with "a little irritation" in his knee that held him out of Monday's walkthrough before the wide receiver capped the week with back-to-back limited walkthroughs. The Lions then listed St. Brown as questionable for Week 17 action, but Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Thursday morning that the wideout was expected to play, which now has been confirmed. Since he missed most of a Thanksgiving matchup with the Packers due to an ankle injury, St. Brown has suited up in each of the last three contests, accruing a 23-310-2 line on 36 targets during that span.

  • Commanders' Tyler Biadasz: Done for the day

Biadasz (knee) has been ruled out for the remainder of Washington's matchup versus the Cowboys on Thursday.

Biadasz is done for the game after exiting the game in the second quarter due to a knee injury. Nick Allegretti has replaced the 28-year-old at center, while Andrew Wylie is now in at right guard.

  • Jake Ferguson TE | DAL

Cowboys' Jake Ferguson: Won't return Thursday

Ferguson won't return to Thursday's contest at Washington due to a calf injury, Joe Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News reports.

The Cowboys made the announcement not long after halftime, but prior to that point there was no indication Ferguson was dealing with a health concern. In any case, he'll finish Week 17 with one catch (on two targets) for six yards and one touchdown. Luke Schoonmaker and Brevyn Spann-Ford will be Dallas' options at tight end for the rest of Thursday's game.

  • Jonathan Jones DB | PHI

Commanders' Jonathan Jones: Cleared of concussion

Jones (head) has been cleared to return to Thursday's Week 17 game against the Cowboys.

Jones underwent a concussion evaluation during the second quarter but was cleared to return before the end of the half. He should be good to go as one of the Commanders' primary outside cornerbacks for the remainder of the contest, barring another exit.
