Doubs did not play in the Patriots' 13-13 tie with the Colts in Thursday's preseason game.

Doubs, A.J. Brown and DeMario Douglas were the three Patriots wide receivers who observed Thursday's game in street clothes. Doubs inked a four-year contract with the Patriots in March after spending the first four years of his NFL career with the Packers, and he's slated to serve as a key target for QB Drake Maye in 2026 while starting alongside Brown. Doubs is coming off a 2025 season in which he caught 55 passes (on 85 targets) for 724 yards and six touchdowns across 16 regular-season games.

Jackson logged 34 snaps during Thursday's preseason opener against the Bengals.

The strong safety participated in 34 percent of the Lions' defensive plays but did not appear otherwise in the final box score. Thursday marked Jackson's first preseason action, as the second-year safety was placed on injured reserve in early August of his rookie season due to a leg injury.

Harper produced three solo tackles in Thursday night's preseason opener against the Bengals.

Harper logged 39 defensive snaps and 12 special-teams snaps in the contest. The free safety played 56 percent of the defensive snaps for the Lions. Harper's ability to consistently take down the ball carrier solo may earn him more snaps in subsequent preseason games, such as in next Saturday's showdown with the Commanders.

Jenkins logged five tackles (three solo), including 1.0 sacks, during Thursday night's preseason opener against the Lions.

Jenkins participated in 32 defensive snaps, good for 48 percent of Cincinnati's total in Thursday's game. The defensive tackle missed the last three games of the 2025 regular season due to an ankle injury, but he appears to have since recovered. The 2024 second-rounder has a hard path to playing time this year, with the addition of Dexter Lawrence set to knock his position on the depth chart down further.

Glover played 18 offensive snaps in Thursday night's preseason opener against the Steelers.

Glover participated in 30 percent of the offensive snaps for the Packers. The 25-year-old played the snaps at right tackle, proving last year's shoulder issue is officially behind him.

Williams played 32 offensive snaps in Thursday's preseason opener against the Steelers.

Williams participated in 53 percent of the offensive snaps, defending quarterback Kyle McCord as he made his Packers debut. The backup tackle will likely see similar usage in next Friday's preseason game against the Broncos.

Conner (foot) did not play in Thursday's 27-14 preseason win over the Raiders.

It's not much of a surprise, considering Conner is still working his way back from foot and ankle surgery that he underwent in late September. Neither Conner nor Trey Benson played in Thursday's exhibition contest, though No. 3 overall pick Jeremiyah Love (ankle) saw a fair amount of work against the Raiders, turning 14 touches into 72 yards, while Tyler Allgeier added four carries for 19 yards. Conner, Love and Allgeier figure to all be in the mix for backfield snaps, though who's listed as RB1 by the start of the regular season is up in the air.

Bailey (ankle) is questionable to return to Friday night's preseason game against the Falcons, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.

Bailey exited the game in the second quarter with an ankle injury. The inside linebacker did not produce any box-score statistics before his departure.

Wohler made three tackles (two solo) over nine defensive snaps during Thursday's preseason opener against the Colts.

Wohler logged only 12 percent of the defensive snaps in Thursday's contest but made the most of the time. The backup strong safety recorded a tackle on 33 percent of his snaps. The 2025 seventh-rounder's performance has likely earned him more reps in next Saturday's preseason showdown with the Falcons.

Johnston did not play in the Chargers' 27-7 preseason win over the Texans on Thursday.

Johnston joined Tre' Harris and Ladd McConkey in observing Thursday's exhibition contest from the sidelines while KeAndre Lambert-Smith, JaQuae Jackson and rookie fourth-rounder Brenen Thompson each played 30 or more offensive snaps against Houston. Johnston had his ups and downs in 2025 but finished with a career-high 735 receiving yards across 14 regular-season games, while his eight touchdowns also tied his career best in that category. However, the 2023 first-rounder could be in line for an expanded role in offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel's scheme, especially since Keenan Allen is still a free agent.
