  • Jonathan Jones DB | PHI

Commanders' Jonathan Jones: Dealing with injury to ribs

Jones did not practice Wednesday due to a rib injury.

Jones logged an 80 percent defensive snap share against the Vikings this past Sunday but appears to have picked up an injury along the way. His level of participation in practice the remainder of the week should reveal if he's in danger of missing Sunday's clash against the Giants. Should Jones be unable to suit up in that game, Noah Igbinoghene could see more opportunities on defense.

  • Bobby Wagner MLB | WAS

Commanders' Bobby Wagner: Doesn't practice to begin Week 15

Wagner (knee) was a non-participant at practice Wednesday.

Wagner has been managing a knee injury since last week. He logged a DNP/DNP/LP practice progression during Week 14 prep but was ultimately able to play Sunday versus Minnesota and had another big game with 16 tackles. Unless Wagner suffered a setback in that contest, he seems likely to suit up this Sunday versus the Giants, though his participation level Thursday and Friday should shed more light on his status.

  • Xavier Weaver WR | ARI

Cardinals' Xavier Weaver: Doesn't practice Wednesday

Weaver (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday, Zach Gershman of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Both Weaver and Marvin Harrison (heel) sat out drills to begin Week 14 prep, meaning Michael Wilson and Andre Baccellia are the only healthy wide receivers on the Cardinals' active roster at the moment. The team elevated Jalen Brooks and Trent Sherfield from the practice squad for this past Sunday's game against the Rams, and similar transactions likely will come to pass if one or both of Harrison and Weaver are sidelined again Sunday at Houston. Ultimately, Weaver likely will need to practice Thursday and/or Friday in order to have a chance to suit up this weekend.

  • Giants' Kayvon Thibodeaux: Remains sidelined at practice

Thibodeaux (shoulder) did not practice Wednesday, Matt Citak of the Giants' official site reports.

Thibodeaux's last game action took place in Week 10 against Chicago. He hasn't practiced since, and his continued absence following New York's Week 14 bye doesn't bode well for his chance of returning to action this Sunday against the Commanders. Still, the Giants have opted to not put Thibodeaux on IR to this point, suggesting that they believe he isn't going to remain out for a substantial amount of additional time.

  • Pat Bryant WR | DEN

Broncos' Pat Bryant: Misses practice Wednesday

Bryant (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

A hamstring issue limited Bryant this past Thursday and Friday, but the wideout approached Week 14 action without an injury designation before recording a 47 percent offensive snap share in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Raiders, a game in which he caught all four of his targets for 32 yards. With no reported setbacks, it's possible that Bryant's DNP on Wednesday was maintenance-related. Added context on that front will arrive via the Broncos' next injury report.

  • Giants' Gunner Olszewski: Opens week as DNP

Olszewski (concussion) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Matt Citak of the Giants' official site reports.

Olszewski suffered a concussion in Week 13 against New England after taking a big helmet-to-helmet hit on a kick return. Despite New York being on bye last week, the return specialist hasn't yet reached the point that he's ready to practice. Olszewski will need to clear the NFL's concussion protocol before he's able to return to game action, and if he can't play this Sunday versus the Commanders, Devin Singletary, Eric Gray and Jalin Hyatt are candidates to cover his role in the return game.

  • Jordan Addison WR | MIN

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Tending to Achilles injury

Addison was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to an Achilles injury, Emily Leiker of The Minnesota Star Tribune reports.

Since making his season debut Week 4 following a three-game suspension to begin the campaign, Addison was on point with an 18-283-1 line on 26 targets in his first three appearances. Since then uneven QB play for the Vikings has impacted all members of the offense, with Addison managing just a 19-227-2 line on 44 targets over the last 10 contests. Now with a health concern in tow, his status will be one to watch as the week goes on to see if he may be in danger of missing Sunday's road matchup with the Cowboys.

  • Beaux Collins WR | NYG

Giants' Beaux Collins: Returns to practice Wednesday

The Giants designated Collins (neck) to return to practice Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports, and Collins was a full participant in his return, per Matt Citak of the Giants' official site.

Collins suffered a neck injury against the 49ers in Week 9. He was ultimately placed on injured reserve Nov. 8 and has since missed the required four games. With an additional week to recover during New York's Week 14 bye, Collins now appears to be back to full health. He may be able to suit up and log a depth wideout role against Washington this Sunday, but the Giants would first need to activate him by Saturday afternoon.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Vikings' Aaron Jones: Remains limited at practice

Jones (shoulder) was limited at practice Wednesday, Emily Leiker of The Minnesota Star Tribune reports.

Jones has been bothered by a shoulder injury since getting hurt Week 9 at Detroit, but he's suited up for each of the Vikings' ensuing five contests, totaling 67 touches for 308 yards from scrimmage and one rushing TD. Meanwhile, No. 2 RB Jordan Mason has turned 37 touches into 218 total yards and two rushing TDs during that same span. Friday's practice report will reveal whether or not Jones enters the weekend with a designation for Sunday's game at Dallas.

  • Packers' Savion Williams: Limited in practice

Williams (foot) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Williams missed the past two games, and he probably wouldn't get much playing time even if he were healthy now that the Packers have all of their veteran wideouts available.
