Davis (groin) has returned to Sunday's game against the Bills, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Davis had his groin injury evaluated by medical staff, but he has been cleared to return to Sunday's game. Charles Woods will revert to a rotational role in the secondary now that Davis is back.

Adams (groin) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

Adams aggravated a groin injury during Sunday's game, which is severe enough for him not to return. Dean Clark will remain in the game at safety the rest of the way.

Mitchell (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Saints, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

Hunter hasn't played since Week 6, as he's firmly behind all of Kyren Williams, Blake Corum and Ronnie Rivers in Los Angeles' RB pecking order. In the five games Hunter has participated in this season, he's played exclusively on special teams.

Renfrow (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Saints, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

Renfrow will be a healthy inactive once again Sunday, and he has not played since Week 6 against the Cowboys. Renfrow's next chance to play is Week 16 against the Buccaneers on Sunday, Dec. 21, though he's unlikely to play in that game unless the Panthers require an extra wide receiver.

Bennett (coach's decision) is inactive and will serve as the Rams' emergency third quarterback Sunday against Detroit, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.

This is a familiar role for Bennett, who has yet to make an appearance in a regular-season NFL game. He can enter Sunday's game only if both Matthew Stafford and Jimmy Garoppolo are forced to exit due to injury, illness or ejection.

Welch (concussion) will play in Green Bay's matchup against Denver on Sunday, Mike Spofford reports.

Welch has cleared the league's concussion protocol after sustaining one during the Week 14 win over the Bears. The 27-year-old should continue to contribute on special teams versus the Broncos.

Wharton (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Saints, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

Wharton popped up on Saturday's injury report due to a hamstring injury, which is severe enough for him to be sidelined for Sunday's game. Bobby Brown and LaBryan Ray are poised for more defensive snaps in Wharton's absence.

Vaki (thumb) is active for Sunday's game against the Rams.

Vaki has been dealing with a thumb issue throughout December but hasn't missed any time because of the injury. With Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery both healthy, Vaki probably won't get much (if any) work on offense against Los Angeles, though he consistently has served as a core special-teamer.

Saubert (calf) is active for Sunday's game against the Colts.

Saubert was activated from injured reserve Saturday, and the veteran tight end has been cleared to return Sunday from a six-game absence due to a calf injury. With Elijah Arroyo (knee) on injured reserve, Saubert and Nick Kallerup will serve as the backup tight ends behind AJ Barner for Sunday's game.
