The Browns signed McLaughlin off their practice squad Tuesday.

McLaughlin takes the spot on the 53-man roster vacated by running back Dylan Sampson (knee), who was placed on injured reserve. McLaughlin has appeared in 41 career games over three seasons with the Broncos, carrying the ball 226 times for 1,093 yards (4.8 YPC) while scoring three touchdowns. He's also been competent as a pass catcher, securing 59 of 69 targets for 263 yards and four more scores. McLaughlin could play an immediate role in passing situations behind early-down back Quinshon Judkins.

Sampson (knee) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.

It's unclear exactly how much time Sampson will miss. He is expected back this season, per Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer, but his placement on IR means he will miss at least the next four games. Jaleel McLaughlin was brought up from the practice squad, and both he and Raheim Sanders -- who played 18 snaps on offense and got four touches Sunday after Sampson's exit -- will work behind starter Quinshon Judkins.

Johnson rushed eight times for 24 yards in the Chiefs' 31-10 win over the Broncos on Monday night. He added two catches for 44 yards on two targets.

The rookie won the RB2 job behind Kenneth Walker pretty convincingly during training camp and the preseason, and Johnson showed why against Denver, consistently making plays with the ball in his hands. Most of his work came late in the fourth quarter with the game out of hand, but it's evident Johnson is a premier bench stash in fantasy should something happen to Walker.

Cooper (ankle) is "week-to-week," and the hope is he returns "within the next four weeks," Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Cooper underwent an MRI after spraining his ankle in Sunday's victory over the Titans, and per the report he received "positive news" and could be back at some point in the next month. Isaiah Williams picked up the bulk of the work in Cooper's place in Week 1, and he figures to see extra snaps until the rookie first-round pick is ready to return.

Darnold (glute) is "looking at about a four-week return to play" but could return "a little bit sooner than that," Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Reports on Darnold's return date have varied, but the latest one indicates he could miss a bit more time than initially anticipated. What's certain is he's dealing with what the Seahawks are calling a "very unique" soft-tissue injury, but one that is expected to lead to a long-term absence. Drew Lock should continue to start at quarterback for however long Darnold remains sidelined.

Lloyd finished with 13 tackles (nine solo) in Sunday's 59-37 loss to the Bears.

The Panthers' defense did not have a good day, but Lloyd was at least active in his first game with his new team. The former Jaguar signed a three-year, $42-million contract with Carolina in the offseason after recording 81 tackles (35 solo), seven pass breakups, including five interceptions, and a fumble recovery during the 2025 regular season.

Campbell recorded nine tackles (five solo), including 1.0 sacks, in Sunday's 24-22 win over the Commanders.

The linebacker also played on 64 of 70 defensive snaps. Campbell made 80 tackles (44 solo) as a rookie, but he did not record a sack, and he ultimately lost his starting job to Nakobe Dean. With Dean now in Las Vegas, Campbell, a 2025 first-round pick, appears primed for a bigger role in 2026.

Baun finished with 12 tackles (seven solo) and two pass breakups in Sunday's 24-22 victory over the Commanders.

The inside linebacker also played on all 70 of Philadelphia's defensive snaps. Two years ago, Baun was a First Team All-Pro, and last year, he recorded 123 tackles (64 solo), including 3.5 sacks, seven pass breakups, including two interceptions, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in the regular season. One of the league's best defenders is off to a similar start in 2026.

Worthy secured three of six targets for 18 yards in the Chiefs' 31-10 win over the Broncos on Monday night.

Worthy was on the receiving end of Patrick Mahomes' first completion of the season, which went for nine yards and took the Chiefs down to the Broncos' 26-yard line on an opening drive that culminated in a 15-yard touchdown run by the returning signal-caller. Worthy produced modest gains on his other pair of grabs, but Mahomes recorded just five completions overall to wide receivers in the season-opening victory. Worthy boasts the potential for much better production, and he could have a good opportunity to deliver on that upside in a favorable Week 2 home matchup against the Colts on Sunday night.

Kelce brought in three of five targets for 71 yards in the Chiefs' 31-10 win over the Broncos on Monday night.

Kelce comfortably paced the Chiefs in receiving yards while tying for the team lead in receptions and finishing as the runner-up in targets. The legendary tight end's night would have been unremarkable without his game-long 59-yard catch, which came on a third-down play just before the six-minute mark of the third quarter and brought the ball down to the Broncos' four-yard line. Kelce's chemistry with Patrick Mahomes is unquestioned, and with the prolific quarterback looking to be at close to full health already Monday night, fantasy-friendly performances should continue to be the norm between the two as the season unfolds.
