The Patriots waived Jennings (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Saturday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Jennings' placement on injured reserve would have forced the 25-year-old running back to miss the entire 2026 season. However, the settlement allows him to sign and play with a team once fully healthy, and that includes a potential reunion with the Patriots later this season. Lan Larison and Jam Miller are locked into a competition for the Patriots' RB3 role behind Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson following Jennings' departure.

Murphy (undisclosed) exited Saturday's practice early with cart assistance, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.

Murphy initially walked off the practice field before being driven to the locker room on a cart. The defensive end's injury remains undisclosed, and the cart could just be a precaution. If the starting defensive end did suffer a severe injury, Cashius Howell will likely see the majority of starting snaps at defensive end across from Boye Mafe.

The Cardinals placed Keys (undisclosed) on injured reserve Saturday.

Keys likely sustained the injury in Thursday's preseason win over the Raiders. The linebacker was on the roster bubble, and the move to IR ends his bid to make the team. Keys will now spend the entirety of the 2026 regular season on IR unless he is waived with an injury settlement.

The Packers waived Drones on Saturday.

Drones signed with the Packers as an undrafted free agent in early May. The quarterback had just one pass attempt in Thursday's preseason opener against the Steelers, and it did not result in a completion. Drones will now be placed on waivers, and if he clears will become a free agent able to sign with any franchise.

The Cardinals signed Stewart to a contract Saturday.

Stewart spent the 2025 season as a free agent after being waived by the Vikings in late August. The running back has yet to start in a regular-season game, but may see some preseason action due to a banged-up Cardinals corps. Jeremiyah Love (ankle), James Conner (foot) and Trey Benson (knee) are all dealing with injuries, meaning Stewart could see a few snaps in next Saturday's preseason showdown with the Cowboys.

The Cardinals signed Cupp to a contract Saturday.

Cupp is a third-year undrafted free agent out of Texas Tech. The tight end played in one career regular-season game for the Chiefs in 2024, totalling 10 snaps and one target for zero catches. The 26-year-old was likely signed to replace Jameson Geers (undisclosed), who was just placed on season-ending injured reserve.

Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said Saturday that Stroud and the other healthy starters will play in Thursday's preseason game against Las Vegas, DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN.com reports.

Ryans will give his key players some run after holding them out from the preseason opener. Stroud's offensive line crucially appears healthy, including new starters Braden Smith (RT), Wyatt Teller (LG) and Keylan Rutledge (C).

Geers likely sustained an injury during Thursday's preseason win over the Raiders. The tight end was fighting a losing battle to make the 53-man roster, and the injury brings an end to that bid. Geers will spend the entirety of the 2026 regular season on injured reserve unless he is waived with an injury settlement.

The Cardinals placed Bisontis (knee) on injured reserve Saturday.

Bisontis suffered a season-ending MCL tear during Thursday's preseason win over the Raiders. The rookie second-round pick was close to overtaking Isaiah Adams for the starting right guard position on the Cardinals' offensive line. Now the 22-year-old will need to wait until 2027 for a shot at regular-season NFL action.

Kohou (knee) will not play in Saturday's preseason game against the Rams, Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com reports.

Kohou suffered a knee injury at some point in practice and will not be available for Saturday's showdown. The slot cornerback was medically cleared in March from the partially torn ACL he suffered in July of 2025. Another knee injury for the 27-year-old is not a good sign, and it is unclear how long Kohou will miss due to the issue. Jadon Canady will likely see an increase in snaps at cornerback while Kohou is absent.
