Beckham is slated to sign a one-year contract with the Giants after working out with the team Monday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Beckham will return to New York and compete for a depth role at wide receiver alongside Calvin Austin, Malachi Fields and Isaiah Hodgins, with Darius Slayton (abdomen) and Darnell Mooney being the top candidates to join Malik Nabers (ACL) in three-wide sets. The 33-year-old veteran played for the Giants from 2014-18 and has since logged stints with the Browns, Rams, Ravens and Dolphins. Beckham's last regular-season action came in 2024 with Miami, when he was limited to nine catches for 55 yards across as many appearances. Beckham doesn't boast the skill set to fill the void on special teams left by Gunner Olszewski's season-ending Achilles injury, though to that end Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that New York also plans to sign Braxton Berrios.

Wilson has accepted an offer to join a television broadcast team Monday in lieu of pursuing a backup quarterback position for the 2026 season, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Wilson reportedly had been offered a contract by the Jets to provide depth behind Geno Smith, but the 37-year-old veteran instead will turn his attention toward a broadcasting career. While it remains to be seen whether Wilson intends to officially retire from the NFL, it appears at the very least that he doesn't plan to suit up during the 2026 campaign. He opened the 2025 season as the Giants' starter but only held onto that gig until Week 3, after which point then-rookie Jaxson Dart took the reins. With Wilson out of the mix, Cade Klubnik, Brady Cook and Bailey Zappe remain positioned as Gang Green's top reserve options behind Smith.

Olszewski will have surgery on his ruptured Achilles on Monday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.

Olszewski tore his Achilles in practice during OTAs on Friday. The injury will sideline him for the entirety of the upcoming campaign. Olszewski had been expected to work as the Giants' primary kick and punt returner as well as serve as depth at wideout.

Nicholson (undisclosed) was waived by the Browns with an injury settlement Friday.

With the injury settlement, Nicholson avoided spending the entire 2026 season on the Browns' injured reserve. While the severity of his injury remains unclear, the 24-year-old can now sign with a new team should the opportunity arise.

The Patriots signed Onwenu to a revised contract Friday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Onwenu is heading into the final season of a three-year, $57 million deal. The revised contract nets a $7.5 million cap reduction for the Patriots while adding $10 million in guaranteed money for the veteran lineman.

When asked earlier this week whether he would continue to run less this coming season after logging a career-low 67 rushing attempts through 13 regular-season games in 2025, Jackson was noncommittal, Jamison Hensley of ESPN reports.

On that topic, Jackson indicated "whatever it takes to win. So whether I'm running less or running more, it's whatever it takes to win." It's worth noting that various injuries throughout the 2025 campaign affected the star QB's practice participation, including a hamstring issue that cropped up in Week 3 and led to Jackson missing three contests. Now that he's had the offseason to heal up, a healthy Jackson, in general, profiles as a bounce-back candidate in 2026, with a return to triple-digit carries plausible in the absence of injury setbacks. While Jackson declined to elaborate on how talks regarding a possible contract extension with the Ravens were going, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic relays the 29-year-old signal caller maintains he wants to remain with the franchise for the foreseeable future. "I love this organization. I love this city," Jackson said. "This is the team that drafted me, got a lot of love for me and I got a lot of love for this city and the team as well." Meanwhile, the two-time MVP has been a regular at Baltimore's voluntary offseason workout program, with an eye toward gaining familiarity with a new offensive scheme/system being implemented by the team's incoming coaching staff.

Olszewski is believed to have suffered a torn Achilles at Friday's OTAs practice, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Olszewski went down with a non-contact injury as he was coming off the line to run a route, according to Dan Duggan of The Athletic. He'll undergo further testing to confirm the diagnosis, but a torn Achilles would certainly knock Olszewski out for the 2026 regular season. In 16 regular-season games with the Giants last season, Olszewski caught 10 of 13 targets for 145 yards and one touchdown. He also handled primary returner duties for New York.

Smith (knee) is participating in OTAs this week, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

A third-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Smith suffered a hamstring injury in Week 2 that landed him on injured reserve until returning in Week 8. He then sustained a season-ending torn meniscus in his knee in Week 9. Wilson reports Smith is now 100 percent healthy and has no restrictions this offseason. He'll compete for a role behind starters Derek Stingley, Kamari Lassiter and slot corner Jalen Pitre.

McCaffrey said after Thursday's OTAs that he's looking forward to sustaining another heavy workload in 2026, and that any reductions in touches should come in practice rather than games, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

"I think everything else can be monitored during the week or with a practice schedule or certain ways you train, whatever it may be," McCaffrey said. "But when it comes to game days, I like to think you prepare yourself for playing every snap." McCaffrey handled a career-high 413 touches during the 2025 regular season, leading the NFL in that category for the third time in his nine-year career. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said earlier in the offseason that the team would like to provide McCaffrey more help in the backfield to ensure the star running back stays fresh and effective down the stretch, but McCaffrey has no plans to cede a significant share of regular-season snaps to any of Jordan James, Kaelon Black, Isaac Guerendo (pectoral), Patrick Taylor, Jordan Mims or Jermar Jefferson, all of whom are competing for slotting behind McCaffrey on San Francisco's running back depth chart.

Saints head coach Kellen Moore said Thursday that Miller (ACL) is not practicing during OTAs as he continues to progress through his rehab, Arye Pulli of USA Today reports.

Miller is recovering from a torn ACL suffered Week 7 of the 2025 campaign, an injury which derailed what was otherwise shaping up to be an impressive season. Prior to tearing his ACL, Miller had compiled a 47-193-1 rushing line across seven games while handling a complementary role behind Alvin Kamara (knee/ankle). He also had five catches for 30 yards and 393 kickoff-return yards. Now, in addition to completing his rehab and making a full recovery, Miller faces the difficult task of competing for a role behind new No. 1 option Travis Etienne, Kamara, and 2025 sixth-rounder Devin Neal (hamstring).
