Whittington (knee) was estimated as DNP on Tuesday's practice report, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.

Los Angeles didn't actually practice Tuesday but was required to release an estimation ahead of Saturday afternoon's wild-card matchup with the Panthers. Whittington suffered a knee injury is Sunday's win over the Cardinals and underwent an MRI.

  • Panthers' Tershawn Wharton: Ready to face Rams

Wharton (hamstring) was a full participant in Tuesday's walkthrough practice, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

Wharton missed Carolina's final four regular-season games, but he was initially listed as questionable to play Week 18. Now, the veteran defensive tackle looks fully on track for Saturday's wild-card round game against Los Angeles.

  • Tyler Higbee TE | LAR

Rams' Tyler Higbee: Limited to begin practice week

Higbee (ankle) was a full participant in Tuesday's walkthrough, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.

The ankle injury had kept Higbee out of action for six games before he was reinstated from injured reserve ahead of the regular-season finale versus Arizona. The veteran tight end delivered an impressive performance in his return, finishing with five catches for 91 yards and a touchdown on six targets. Higbee is expected to be ready to go for Saturday's wild-card game at Carolina, though red-zone looks could be limited with wideout Davante Adams (hamstring) on track to play after missing the final three games of the regular season.

  • Davante Adams WR | LAR

Rams' Davante Adams: Opens week with full practice

Adams (hamstring) was a full participant in Tuesday's walkthrough, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.

Though Tuesday's practice was merely an estimate, Adams was listed as a full participant on a report for the first time since Week 14. The veteran wideout missed the final three games of the regular season, but head coach Sean McVay confirmed earlier this week that Adams is on track to play in Saturday's wild-card game in Carolina. He shouldn't face any limitations with his snap count this weekend.

  • Jalen Royals WR | KC

Chiefs' Jalen Royals: Minimal impact as rookie

Royals totaled two receptions (on three targets) for four yards during Sunday's 14-12 loss against Las Vegas.

Royals drew some buzz in preseason action, but it didn't translate to any real on-field production prior to Week 18. The rookie's two catches in the finale represent his only pair of catches in his rookie campaign. Chiefs wideouts JuJu Smith-Schuster and Hollywood Brown are slated to become free agents this offseason, so the Royals could have an opportunity to claim a healthier role in his second season if the brass believes in his long-term development.

  • Nate Landman LB | LAR

Rams' Nate Landman: Leads Rams in tackles

Landman recorded 132 total tackles (64 solo), including 2.5 sacks, six passes defensed, one interception and four forced fumbles over 17 games in 2025.

There's a reason the Rams handed Landman a three-year, $22.5 million extension earlier this season; Landman's emergence as a leader of the defense in his first season in Los Angeles. His 132 tackles were both a team and career high for the four-year vet, and he also led the Rams with four forced fumbles. He'll remain a key component of a young Rams defense in 2026, and will get his first taste of playoff football on Saturday in the wild-card round against the Panthers.

  • Matthew Wright: Joins Buffalo's practice squad

The Bills signed Wright to their practice squad Tuesday.

Buffalo will bring Wright aboard as an insurance option at kicker in the event that Matt Prater (quadriceps) is unable to play in Sunday's wild-card game at Jacksonville. The well-traveled Wright has previously seen NFL action with eight teams over the last six seasons, converting 60 of his 68 field-goal attempts (88.2 percent) with a long of 59 yards over 33 career games.
