L.J. Collier DE | ARI
Cardinals' L.J. Collier: Practice window opens
Collier (knee) was designated to return from the injured reserve list Wednesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
The 30-year-old has missed the Cardinals' last 10 games after sustaining a knee injury in the Week 2 win over the Panthers, but it now appears he's nearing a return. Collier was one of Arizona's best interior defensive linemen in 2024, recording 29 total tackles, including 3.5 sacks, and two passes defensed across 17 contests. Once fully healthy, he's expected to add depth to the Cardinals' defensive line.

Pharaoh Brown TE | IND
Cardinals' Pharaoh Brown: Joins active roster
The Cardinals signed Brown from their practice squad to the active roster Wednesday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
The 31-year-old has appeared in the Cardinals' last three games, contributing both offensively and on special teams (25 snaps on offense and 30 on special teams). Now with the active roster, Brown will likely continue playing a depth role in Arizona's tight-end room for the remainder of the season.

Shaka Heyward LB | CIN
Bengals' Shaka Heyward: Practice window opens
Heyward (lower leg) was designated to return from the injured reserve list Wednesday.
The Duke product has missed Cincinnati's last four games after sustaining a hairline fracture in his fibula during the Week 8 loss to the Jets, but it now appears he's nearing a return. In eight appearances this season, Heyward has played 137 total snaps (130 on special teams, seven on defense) and tallied 10 total tackles. Once fully healthy, he's expected to operate as one of the Bengals' top special-teamers.

Dion Dawkins OT | BUF
Bills' Dion Dawkins: Remains in concussion protocol
Dawkins (concussion) will practice in a limited capacity Wednesday, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.
The 31-year-old was sidelined for Bills' Week 13 win over the Steelers after sustaining a concussion the game prior. Dawkins still needs to clear the NFL's five-step protocol in order to play in Sunday's matchup against the Bengals. If he's unable to do so, Ryan Van Demark will likely start at left tackle.
-
Terrel Bernard LB | BUF
Bills' Terrel Bernard: Missing Wednesday's practice
Head coach Sean McDermott told reporters that Bernard (elbow) won't practice Wednesday, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.
Bernard has not returned to practice since sustaining an elbow injury in the Bills' Week 12 loss to the Texans. He likely needs to upgrade to at least limited practice Thursday or Friday to have a chance at suiting up for the Week 14 matchup against the Bengals. If the 26-year-old is sidelined for the second consecutive game Sunday, Shaq Thompson will likely operate as Buffalo's top middle linebacker.
-
Joey Bosa DE | BUF
Bills' Joey Bosa: Nursing hamstring injury
Bosa won't practice Wednesday and is considered week-to-week with a hamstring injury, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.
The 30-year-old played a season-low 24 defensive snaps and likely sustained a hamstring injury in Buffalo's Week 13 win over the Steelers. Head coach Sean McDermott told reporters Wednesday that Bosa could be out anywhere from one to five weeks, but the team is hoping he returns sooner rather than later, per Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site. With Bosa likely sidelined for the Week 14 matchup against the Bills, A.J. Epenesa is expected to play a larger role on Buffalo's defensive line.

Dante Pettis WR | BUF
Saints' Dante Pettis: Joins active roster
The Saints signed Pettis from their practice squad to the active roster Wednesday.
The 2018 second-round pick from Washington has appeared in each of the Saints' last three games, catching his lone target for 14 yards while also accumulating 126 kick-return yards and 30 punt-return yards. Now with the active roster, Pettis will likely remain a depth option in New Orleans' receiving corps while operating as the top return man in the Week 14 matchup against the Buccaneers.
-
Josh Palmer WR | BUF
Bills' Joshua Palmer: Not in line to practice Wednesday
Palmer (knee/ankle) will be deemed a non-participant in Wednesday's walk-through, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.
Palmer was inactive for this past Sunday's win over the Steelers, and his looming DNP listing Wednesday clouds his status for this weekend's game against the Bengals. In his absence versus the Steelers, Khalil Shakir, Gabe Davis, Keon Coleman and Tyrell Shavers led Buffalo's WR corps, with newcomer Brandin Cooks mixing in.
-
Austin Trammell WR | JAC
Austin Trammell: Joins Jags' practice squad
Trammell signed with the Jaguars' practice squad Wednesday.
Trammell was dropped by the Jaguars on Monday, but it now appears the team has had a change of heart. The Rice product has appeared in Jacksonville's last five games, catching three of 10 targets for 46 yards. He played a season-high 34 offensive snaps in the Week 13 win over the Titans, so his role could continue to grow in the Jaguars' offense if he's elevated to the active roster for Sunday's matchup against the Colts.
-
Dalton Kincaid TE | BUF
Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Remains listed as limited
Coach Sean McDermott said that Kincaid (hamstring/knee) will be limited in Wednesday's walk-through, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.
That will mark the third straight limited listing for Kincaid, who last saw game action in Week 10. The tight end thus has two more chances to upgrade his participation level before the Bills assign injury designations ahead of Sunday's game against the Bengals. During Kincaid's absence, Dawson Knox and Jackson Hawes have been handling Buffalo's TE duties.
