Rypien was released from the Buccaneers' practice squad Tuesday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.

The Buccaneers have Baker Mayfield and Jalon Daniels on the depth chart, and Easton Stick occupies a spot on the practice squad. As a result, Rypien's services were no longer needed. The 30-year-old has appeared in 11 regular-season games for the Broncos, Rams and Bengals throughout his career, throwing for 950 yards, four touchdowns and nine interceptions off 98-for-168 passing. While Rypien hasn't been the most productive signal-caller, his experience could earn him another opportunity with another NFL team somewhere down the line.

The Cardinals placed Brooks (wrist) on injured reserve Tuesday.

The transaction comes after Brooks announced earlier in the day that he underwent season-ending wrist surgery. Brooks saw light snaps through the first four weeks of the season, but he stepped in as the Cardinals' No. 3 wideout for the past three games after Marvin Harrison was traded to the Texans. The 26-year-old will finish the 2026 campaign with five receptions for 81 yards on 17 targets to go with 499 yards on 19 kickoff returns.

The Buccaneers signed Kpeenu to the practice squad Tuesday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.

Kpeenu went undrafted in 2026 but eventually found work with Tampa Bay as a member of the practice squad. He appeared in two preseason contests, totaling six carries for 24 yards, before being cut ahead of Week 1. Kpeenu will now return for his second stint with the Buccaneers' practice squad, though he's not expected to suit up for a regular-season game anytime soon.

Rhyan was diagnosed with a high ankle sprain and is expected to miss at least one month, Matt Zenitz of CBSSports.com reports.

Rhyan was injured in Sunday's loss to the Lions. To make matters worse, Jacob Monk (quadriceps) landed on injured reserve Monday, meaning the Packers may continue to rely on John Williams, the 2025 No. 250 overall pick, to fill the void at the center position for the foreseeable future.

The Giants placed Tracy (hamstring) on injured reserve Tuesday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.

Just as general manager Joe Schoen indicated would be the case earlier in the day, Tracy was deactivated after straining his hamstring during Sunday's 27-21 overtime win over the Texans. He'll be out for at least the next four games, making the Giants' Week 13 game against the 49ers his earliest possible return date. While Tracy is sidelined, Devin Singletary is expected to operate as the top complement to Cam Skattebo (hamstring), who thrived while moving back into a lead role out of the backfield in the Week 7 victory.

The 49ers acquired Buckner from the Colts on Tuesday in exchange for a 2027 fourth-round draft pick, Tom Pelissero of Netflix reports.

Buckner is the second major piece to be dealt away by the 2-5 Colts, as eight-time Pro Bowl guard Quenton Nelson was shipped to Seattle earlier in the day. Selected by the 49ers with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, Buckner will return to the team with whom he spent the first four seasons of his career. Buckner, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, should immediately step into a starting role at defensive tackle, with his addition and the impending return of edge rusher Nick Bosa (knee) bolstering a defensive line that has been hit hard by injuries during the first half of the season.

Jackson (ankle) is "believed to be close to 100 percent" and is expected to play Sunday versus the Bills, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

After missing the Ravens' last three games with what he has described as a left high-ankle sprain, Jackson seems to have responded well to taking part in practices last week and looks to be moving toward a return to the lineup this Sunday. The Ravens will presumably prepare for Jackson to take on more reps in practices Wednesday through Friday, and if all goes well, he could head into the weekend without a designation. In Jackson's absence, Tyler Huntley has started each of the last three contests and has guided Baltimore to a 1-2 record while completing 68 percent of his passes for 6.8 yards per attempt and accounting for five touchdowns.

Golden (shoulder/foot) didn't participate in Tuesday's walkthrough practice.

Coming out of Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Lions, Golden is nursing a pair of injuries that have resulted in him going down as a non-participant on the Packers' Week 8 injury report. The Packers will see if Golden can upgrade to limited or full participation in Wednesday's session before deciding whether he'll carry a designation into Thursday's game against the Panthers. Despite leading the NFL with six drops through the first seven weeks, Golden has emerged as a useful fantasy asset in his second NFL season with 36 receptions for 540 yards and three touchdowns on 69 targets to go with six rushing yards.

The Raiders reinstated Thornton (hamstring) from injured reserve Tuesday.

With Thornton's 21-day practice window coming to a close this week, the Raiders elected to move him back on to the 53-man roster. A full participant in each of the Raiders' last nine practices, Thornton looks like he'll be ready to play this Sunday against the Jets, but he may not be in store for a meaningful role in the receiver rotation. He struggled to carve out consistent volume in the passing game as a rookie fourth-round pick in 2025, putting together a 10-135-0 receiving line on 30 targets over 15 appearances.

Coker (shoulder) was listed as a full participant in Tuesday's practice, Mike Kaye of ESPN.com reports.

After being listed as limited in Monday's practice estimate, Coker was able to take a step forward in activity a day later. With a full practice under his belt, Coker should be ready to handle his usual snap share in Thursday's game against the Packers. Coker -- who was held to one reception on four targets in Week 7 -- and the rest of the passing attack will look to bounce back after Carolina quarterbacks Bryce Young and Kenny Pickett were limited to just 178 yards through the air in a 43-13 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
