Christian Mahogany OG | DET
Lions' Christian Mahogany: Logs DNP on Wednesday
Mahogany (illness) was a non-participant in Wednesday's practice.
The second-year pro from Boston College appears to have come down with an illness that forced him out of Wednesday's practice. Mahogany likely needs to log a full practice either Thursday or Friday to avoid carrying an injury designation into Sunday's season finale against the Bears.

Penei Sewell OT | DET
Lions' Penei Sewell: Nursing ankle injury
Sewell (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday.
The All-Pro tackle from Oregon likely sustained an ankle injury in the Week 17 loss to the Vikings, as he wasn't on Detroit's injury report leading up to the Christmas Day contest. Sewell likely needs to upgrade to limited practice Thursday or Friday in order to play in the Week 18 matchup against the Bears on Sunday.

Jaylon Moore OT | KC
Chiefs' Jaylon Moore: Logs limited session Wednesday
Moore (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
The Western Michigan product has missed Kansas City's last two games due to a knee injury, but Wednesday's DNP suggests he could return for Sunday's matchup against the Raiders. However, if Moore is sidelined again in Week 18, expect Chukwuebuka Godrick to draw another start at right tackle.

D'Anthony Bell SAF | CAR
Panthers' D'Anthony Bell: Finds work in Carolina
The Panthers claimed Bell off waivers Wednesday, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Bell was dropped by the Seahawks in mid-December, but he's since found a new home in Carolina. The West Florida product appeared in 14 games for Seattle this season, recording 15 total tackles, including 0.5 sacks, while playing 347 total snaps (252 on special teams, 95 on defense). Now in Carolina, he's expected to play a depth role in the Panthers' secondary while contributing on special teams.

Clayton Tune QB | GB
Packers' Clayton Tune: Set for Week 18 start
Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said Thursday that Tune will start Sunday's regular-season finale on the road against Minnesota, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Tune will start Week 18 despite Jordan Love having fully cleared the NFL's concussion protocol, with Green Bay already having secured the No. 7 seed on the NFC side of the playoffs and opting to prioritize the health of its starters. Per Weston Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site, it has not yet been determined who will operate as Tune's backup versus the Vikings on Sunday between Malik Willis (shoulder/hamstring) and recent practice-squad signee Desmond Ridder, or even Love. It will be a tough ask for Tune to find much success against Minnesota and defensive coordinator Brian Flores, especially if Green Bay decides to rest other offensive starters at the skill positions.

Cam Miller QB | MIA
Dolphins' Cam Miller: Headed to Miami
The Dolphins signed Miller off the Raiders' practice squad Thursday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Miller, a 2025 sixth-round pick from North Dakota State, spent the entire season with Las Vegas' practice squad prior to being pickup up by Miami. The 24-year-old quarterback has yet to appear in an NFL game after throwing for 3,251 yards, 33 touchdowns and four interceptions while rushing for 631 yards and 12 touchdowns during his final collegiate season in 2024.

Jordan Love QB | GB
Packers' Jordan Love: Clears protocol, won't start
Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said Thursday that Love has cleared the NFL's concussion protocol but that Clayton Tune will start at quarterback for Sunday's regular-season finale on the road against Minnesota, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.
Love is on track to sit during Week 18 action as Green Bay prioritizes maintaining the starting quarterback's health for the postseason, an unsurprising decision given that the team is already locked into the No. 7 seed in the NFC side of the playoffs. LaFleur said the Packers are still working through the process of determining the backup for Tune, Weston Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports, with candidates presumably including both Malik Willis (shoulder/hamstring) and recent practice-squad signee Desmond Ridder. As such, Love wraps the regular season with 14 appearances, in which span he completed 291 of 439 pass attempts for 3,381 yards, 23 touchdowns and six interceptions. He also rushed 47 times for 199 yards.

Ja'Tavion Sanders TE | CAR
Panthers' Ja'Tavion Sanders: Officially placed on IR
The Panthers placed Sanders (fibula) on injured reserve Wednesday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.
Sanders facing recovery from surgery to address a broken right fibula suffered on the first play of Carolina's loss to Seattle in Week 17, with the expectation being that even if the Panthers manage a deep playoff run, he will miss the remainder of the 2025 campaign. With Sanders sidelined, Tommy Tremble, Mitchell Evans and James Mitchell will hold down the fort at TE for Carolina. Across 13 regular-season appearances in Year 2 of his NFL career, Sanders secured 29 of 34 targets for 190 yards and one touchdown.

Chris Olave WR | NO
Saints' Chris Olave: Expected to miss Week 18
Olave (illness) is expected to sit out Sunday's regular-season finale against the Falcons after a blood clot was detected in his lung, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Olave's blood clot was reportedly detected early and is an issue he will be able to have treated without significant concern, but it will evidently cause the standout wide receiver to sit out New Orleans' regular-season finale. If Olave is indeed officially ruled out for Week 18, he will conclude the 2025 campaign with 100 catches for 1,163 yards and nine touchdowns (on 155 targets) across 16 regular-season appearances. Kevin Austin, Mason Tipton (groin), Dante Pettis and practice-squad member Ronnie Bell will lead the Saints' wide receiver corps Sunday, assuming Olave is unable to go. Per Underhill, Olave is in line to be discharged from the hospital Thursday.

Luke Goedeke OT | TB
Buccaneers' Luke Goedeke: DNP on Wednesday
Goedeke (ankle) turned in a limited practice Wednesday.
Goedeke was estimated to have turned in a limited practice to begin the week and now has another limited session under his belt. He played through the ankle issue in Week 17 and looks to be in line to do the same once again in Week 18 against Carolina.
