The Falcons activated Harrison (undisclosed) from the active/non-football injury list Friday, William McFadden of the team's official site reports.

The move comes after Harrison passed his physical Friday, putting him on track to participate in Saturday's training camp practice. The 2023 third-rounder was limited to seven regular-season games last year due to a knee injury and ended the 2025 campaign on injured reserve. Harrison is expected to start opposite Brandon Dorlus at defensive end, with Chris Williams and LaCale London working in rotation.

Pittsburgh waived Galbreath on Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

The Steelers added Galbreath on a reserve/future deal back in January, but provided he's not claimed by another team during the current waiver period, he's now going back to free agency. He's still waiting to make his regular-season debut after going undrafted in 2025.

Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel said Friday that Davis will be sidelined for at least another week due to a hamstring injury, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Davis injured his hamstring during training camp practice July 28 and has not participated in any drills since. The veteran cornerback was unlikely to see much action in preseason games anyways, and if he's ruled for the Patriots' first exhibition game against the Colts on Thursday, then Kobee Minor, Karon Prunty and Marcellas Dial would all be in line for more snaps at outside corner. Davis is looking to build off a solid 2025 regular season, when he tallied 69 tackles (39 solo) and 10 pass defenses over 17 games.

The Steelers claimed Dowell off waivers from the 49ers on Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Dowell will get an opportunity to make an impression on the Steelers' coaching staff during training camp. He's unlikely to make the 53-man roster for the regular season, but a strong audition in training camp and preseason games could be enough for the 2023 seventh-rounder to stick around on the practice squad. He last saw NFL regular-season action during his rookie campaign with the Titans, when he caught one pass (on two targets) for three yards over 10 games while contributing mostly on special teams.

The Steelers waived Perry on Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Perry joined Pittsburgh during the offseason on a reserve/future contract, but he's now on track to become a free agent again. His last regular-season action came back in 2023 with New Orleans.

The Steelers claimed Mason off waivers from the Seahawks on Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

The undrafted rookie out of Wisconsin will head to Pittsburgh after being let go by the defending Super Bowl champions Thursday, though Mason faces an uphill battle to make the Steelers' 53-man roster given the top four tight ends on the depth chart are Pat Freiermuth, Darnell Washington, Robert Tonyan and Jaheim Bell. During his final college season with the Badgers, Mason caught 30 passes for 398 yards and four touchdowns across 11 games.

Jacobs (groin) isn't practicing Friday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

It's the second straight day that Jacobs is being held out of practice due to a groin injury. At this point, there doesn't seem to be any concern that the veteran running back is dealing with a serious issue, but Green Bay doesn't figure to rush him back onto the field at this early stage of the preseason. Chris Brooks (hamstring) also isn't practicing, so Marshawn Lloyd should get plenty of first-team reps.

The Saints placed Bresee (knee) on injured reserve Friday.

Bresee tore his ACL in an early training-camp practice and will undergo surgery in the coming weeks. He'll turn his attention toward rehab and recovery and aim to be fully healthy for the 2027 season, which will be his last under his rookie contract with the Saints. John Ridgeway figures to start opposite Cameron Jordan at defensive end in Bresee's absence.

The Jets waived Walthall (undisclosed) from injured reserve Friday with an injury settlement, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

With the injury settlement, Walthall will have the opportunity to play for a team in 2026 once he's fully recovered from his undisclosed injury. He's spent time with the Jets and Texans this offseason after not hearing his name called during the 2026 NFL Draft. Walthall spent his last two college seasons at Incarnate Word and finished the 2025 season with 70 catches for 847 yards and eight touchdowns over 10 games.

The Broncos signed Duplessis on Friday, Jon Heath of USA Today reports.

Just a few days after getting cut by Seattle, Duplessis is already getting another chance with a new club. The signing comes after free-agent acquisition Jaylen Waddle left Wednesday's training camp practice with muscle tightness, so Duplessis will likely be expected to pick up some of the slack until Waddle is back.
