The Jets waived Walthall (undisclosed) from injured reserve Friday with an injury settlement, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

With the injury settlement, Walthall will have the opportunity to play for a team in 2026 once he's fully recovered from his undisclosed injury. He's spent time with the Jets and Texans this offseason after not hearing his name called during the 2026 NFL Draft. Walthall spent his last two college seasons at Incarnate Word and finished the 2025 season with 70 catches for 847 yards and eight touchdowns over 10 games.

The Broncos signed Duplessis on Friday, Jon Heath of USA Today reports.

Just a few days after getting cut by Seattle, Duplessis is already getting another chance with a new club. The signing comes after free-agent acquisition Jaylen Waddle left Wednesday's training camp practice with muscle tightness, so Duplessis will likely be expected to pick up some of the slack until Waddle is back.

Chicago signed Woods (hamstring) on Friday.

In a corresponding transaction, the Bears placed cornerback Dallis Flowers on their injured reserve list. The veteran Woods played 11 games with Tennessee in 2025, recording 39 tackles (23 solo) and two interceptions before suffering a season-ending hamstring injury.

The Dolphins waived Gronowski on Friday.

Gronowski caught on with the Dolphins in early May as an undrafted free agent, but the Iowa product will look for opportunities elsewhere, assuming he clears waivers. During his final season as a Hawkeye, Gronowski completed 63.0 percent of his passes for 1,741 yards, 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions while turning 130 carries into 545 yards and 16 scores across 13 games.

The Cowboys waived Richardson on Friday.

The move corresponds with the Cowboys signing running back Jashaun Corbin. Richardson signed with the Cowboys in early May as an undrafted free agent after his name was not called during the 2026 NFL Draft. Assuming he clears waivers, Richardson will look to catch on with a team in need of backfield depth.

The Cowboys signed Corbin to a contract Friday.

Corbin will join the Cowboys' 90-man roster for training camp and will have the opportunity to compete for a spot on the 53-man roster for the 2026 regular season. He last saw regular-season action in 2023 with the Giants and spent a good portion of last season on the Patriots' practice squad. The move corresponds with the Cowboys waiving fellow running back Dominic Richardson.

Weaver (concussion) caught three of five targets for 31 yards during Thursday's 33-30 preseason loss versus the Panthers.

Weaver was second among Arizona receivers in targets in the preseason opener, but he finished out the day in concussion protocol. He is a legitimate candidate to earn a depth role among Cardinals receivers in 2026 provided he can get back on the field in good time.

The NFL suspended Taylor-Britt on Friday for one game due to violating the league's personal conduct policy, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

The decision likely stemmed from when Taylor-Britt spent five days in jail in January for reckless driving and driving without a license. Unless he appeals, Taylor-Britt will not be available for the Colts' regular-season opener against the Ravens, though he would be able to return for Week 2 against the Chiefs on Sunday, Sept. 20. The 2022 second-rounder projects to operate in a rotational role in the secondary behind starting outside cornerbacks Sauce Gardner (calf/illness) and Charvarius Ward.

Barham's groin injury that he sustained during Thursday's training camp practice is not considered to be a long-term concern, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Barham went to the Cowboys' team facilities after injuring his groin during Thursday's practice. The good news for the rookie third-rounder is that he seemingly avoided a serious injury, but it's unclear whether the issue will impact his availability for Dallas' preseason opener against Seattle on Saturday, Aug. 15. Barham figures to see most of his playing time on special teams in his rookie season while serving in a rotational role at linebacker behind DeMarvion Overshown (lower body) and Dee Winters.

Fehoko caught his only target for a five-yard touchdown during Thursday's 33-30 preseason loss versus the Panthers.

Fehoko took advantage of his length (6-foot-4) to beat cornerback Corey Thornton (6-foot-1) on a fade route in the middle of the second quarter for Arizona's second score of the day. Arizona didn't make any huge moves at wide receiver during the offseason, so Fehoko has a real shot to make the opening 53-man roster in 2026.
