Jones has not missed a single snap with the first-team offense and has not taken any days off from practice in training camp, Stephen Holder of ESPN.com reports.

Jones tore his Achilles tendon in December of last season, but that hasn't stopped him from being a pull participant in training camp practices despite recently being cleared to take part in team drills. The veteran quarterback was in the midst of a career year before sustaining the severe injury and finished the 2025 regular season having completed 68.0 percent of his passes for 3,101 yards, 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions while turning 45 carries into 164 yards and five scores across 13 games. Jones is well on track to play in Week 1 against the Ravens on Sunday, Sept. 13.

The Panthers placed Ray on the reserve/retired list Tuesday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.

Ray signed with the Patriots in May of 2022 as an undrafted free agent out of Alabama but didn't get his first taste of NFL regular-season action until the 2023 season with the Panthers. He appeared in 46 regular-season games (10 starts) across three seasons with Carolina and finished with 73 tackles (29 solo), including 1.0 sacks.

Head coach Brian Schottenheimer did not provide reporters with a return timeline for Childress (hamstring) on Tuesday, Mike Moraitis of SI.com reports.

Childress is currently recovering from a hamstring injury, and Schottenheimer indicated that the 24-year-old cornerback will be sidelined for an extended period of time. It's unclear whether Childress will be available for the Cowboys' preseason opener against the Seahawks on Saturday, Aug. 15.

Baldwin did not participate in Tuesday's training camp practice due to a knee injury, Weston Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.

Baldwin may have tweaked his knee during a practice earlier in training camp, and his practice participation will be monitored ahead of the Packers' preseason opener against the Steelers on Thursday, Aug. 13. The UNLV product spent most of the 2025 season on the Packers' practice squad but played nearly every single defensive snap in Green Bay's Week 18 clash against Minnesota, when he finished with seven tackles (four solo). Baldwin also played 10 snaps on special teams during the Packers' NFC wild-card round loss to the Bears in January.

The Falcons placed Malone (undisclosed) on the reserve/PUP list Tuesday, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.

Malone was initially placed on the active/PUP list this past Wednesday due to an undisclosed injury. Now that he's on the reserve/PUP, Malone will be required to miss the entire 2026 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Falcons. He appeared in nine regular-season games for Atlanta last year and finished with eight tackles (two solo) and one interception.

Williams participated in team drills Tuesday for the first time since the start of training camp, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.

Williams was sidelined in minicamp by a lower-body injury, but the 2023 third-rounder has progressed enough in his recovery to expand his workload in training camp practices. He's looking to build off a 2025 campaign in which he logged 63 tackles (29 solo), two pass defenses and one fumble recovery across 16 regular-season games (nine starts). Williams is competing against Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles and rookie fourth-rounder Kaleb Elarms-Orr for the starting job at inside linebacker next to Terrel Bernard.

Jackson (knee) participated in Tuesday's training camp practice, Mike Maynard and Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site report.

Jackson was placed on the Bills' IR in mid-November due to a knee injury and did not play in a single regular-season game following the move. He appears to be fully healthy and is in training camp competing for a depth spot on Buffalo's 53-man roster for the 2026 campaign.

The Patriots claimed Palmer off waivers from the Cardinals on Tuesday.

Palmer will call New England his new home two days after being waived by Arizona. He spent most of the 2025 season on the Cardinals' practice squad but did play in the team's regular-season finale against the Rams, when he logged six snaps (four offense, two special teams) without recording a stat otherwise. Palmer will have the opportunity to compete for a depth spot on the Patriots' 53-man roster at the end of training camp. Even if he doesn't make the cut, then a strong training camp could earn Palmer a spot on New England's practice squad.

Bryant has stood out in team drills during the first week of Denver's training camp, Nick Kosmider of The Athletic reports.

Bryant was a third-round selection of the Broncos in the 2025 NFL Draft and saw his snap count and offensive output steadily increase over the course of his rookie season. Denver added to its wide receiver depth by trading for Jaylen Waddle to form a one-two punch with Courtland Sutton, but so far in training camp, Bryant has been making his case for slotting behind the top duo, along with fellow WRs Troy Franklin and Marvin Mims. If his strong training camp continues, Bryant would be in line for a larger share of offensive snaps in 2026 than he logged last year (48 percent).

The Lions waived Keys with an injury designation Tuesday.

The move comes after Keys left Monday's training camp practice due to a leg injury. If he goes through waivers unclaimed, then Keys would revert to the Lions' injured reserve and be forced to sit out for the entire 2026 season unless an injury settlement is reached with Detroit.
