Carson Schwesinger LB | CLE
Browns' Carson Schwesinger: Browns' leading tackler in win
Schwesinger recorded 10 tackles (five solo) during Sunday's 23-19 win at Tampa Bay.
Schwesinger followed up his strong Week 1 performance with a virtual repeat in Week 2, and he has now recorded 10-plus tackles in nine of his last 10 games going back to last season. He's an elite IDP option in most formats going into a Week 3 matchup versus the Panthers.

Kaleb Johnson RB | GB
Packers' Kaleb Johnson: Limited by backfield timeshare
Johnson compiled eight carries for 32 yards during Sunday's 20-17 overtime win versus the Jets.
Johnson appeared in 16 of the Packers' 59 offensive snaps against the Jets, ending behind Chris Brooks (27) and tying with starter MarShawn Lloyd (16). However, none of them could get anything going, with all three players combining for 63 yards off 18 attempts. Johnson had plenty of hype entering his rookie season with the Steelers in 2025, though he wasn't very involved. With Josh Jacobs (personal) on the Commissioner's Exempt List, there will be snaps up for grabs. While that could mean more involvement from Johnson moving ahead, it seems as if head coach Matt LaFleur will continue to have all three players split carries, which isn't good news for fantasy managers, especially those looking to fill the void left by Jacobs' absence.

Jacob Rodriguez LB | MIA
Dolphins' Jacob Rodriguez: Eight stops in defeat
Rodriguez recorded eight total tackles (three solo) during Sunday's 35-13 loss to the 49ers.
Rodriguez finished second on the team in takedowns behind safety Michael Taaffe (nine). The rookie linebacker has now registered 22 total tackles (eight solo) over the first two games of his NFL career.

Jonnu Smith TE | GB
Packers' Jonnu Smith: No targets in overtime win
Smith played 13 of the Packers' 59 snaps during Sunday's 20-17 overtime win against the Jets.
Smith was targeted three times in Green Bay's loss in Week 1, but he saw fewer snaps (13) at tight end in Week 2 than recent trade acquisition Mark Redman (20). Smith is still probably more likely to draw a target on any given snap than the in-line specialist Redman, but the former's snap share will be worth watching in Week 3 versus the Falcons.

Darren Hall CB | WAS
Darren Hall: Tryout with New England
The Patriots hosted Hall (undisclosed) for a tryout Tuesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Hall was let go from the Falcons with an injury settlement Sept. 8. The safety is now healthy and could garner a spot on the Patriots' practice squad as they search for additional depth to offset the absences of Craig Woodson (shoulder) and Dell Pettus (ankle).
-
Malik Spencer SAF | WAS
Malik Spencer: Works out with New England
The Patriots hosted Spencer (undisclosed) for a workout Tuesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
The Commanders waived Spencer from IR with an injury settlement Sept. 3. The safety has overcome his undisclosed injury and is ready to start competing for a roster spot once again. With Craig Woodson (shoulder) and Dell Pettus (ankle) injured, Spencer could be elevated quickly as a strong safety if the Patriots signed him to the practice squad.
-
Marcelino McCrary-Ball LB | NYJ
Jets' Marcelino McCrary-Ball: Sent to injured reserve
The Jets placed McCrary-Ball (ankle) on injured reserve Tuesday.
With McCrary-Ball out for at least the next four games, the Jets signed Troy Reeder off the practice squad in a corresponding move. McCrary-Ball logged 26 snaps on special teams across the first two weeks of the season.

Avonte Maddox FS | DET
Lions' Avonte Maddox: Officially moved to IR
The Lions placed Maddox (foot) on injured reserve Tuesday.
Maddox will miss the rest of the 2026 season due to a left foot injury he sustained in the Lions' Week 2 loss to the Bills. He'll shift his focus toward being fully healthy for the 2027 campaign, though he'll enter the offseason as an unrestricted free agent. With Maddox, Brian Branch (Achilles) and Kerby Joseph (knee) all sidelined, Thomas Harper and Chuck Clark will serve as Detroit's starting safeties for the time being.

Amari Kight OT | SEA
Amari Kight: Works out for Tennessee
Kight (undisclosed) worked out for the Titans on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Kight spent the summer with the Seahawks but was waived/injured in late August. Now healthy, the lineman will look for a new opportunity after appearing in four regular-season games with Seattle last season.
-
Christopher Brooks RB | GB
Packers' Chris Brooks: Remains involved in crowded backfield
Brooks tallied four carries for 11 yards and caught one of two targets for 15 yards during Sunday's 20-17 overtime win versus the Jets.
Brooks was on the field for 27 of the Packers' 59 offensive snaps Week 2, with Kaleb Johnson and MarShawn Lloyd each logging 16. However, Brooks ceded carries to both players, and he tied Lloyd with two targets. The 26-year-old has totaled 40 yards off 11 carries (3.6 YPC), adding one catch for 15 yards in his two regular-season appearances in 2026. While Josh Jacobs (personal) sits on the Commissioner's Exempt List, there will continue to be opportunities for Brooks, Lloyd and Johnson, though it appears head coach Matt LaFleur is content with a timeshare, lowering the ceiling for all of them moving ahead, including the Week 3 meeting with Atlanta.
