  • Jaxson Dart QB | NYG

Giants' Jaxson Dart: May be dealing with sprained MCL

Dart is believed to have suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee during Monday's 28-6 loss to the Rams, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Dart underwent X-rays that were returned negative, and an MRI scheduled for Tuesday should either confirm or negate the initial diagnosis of an MCL sprain. The promising young quarterback logged just one offensive series Monday before getting hurt while throwing a third-down pass. Per Rapoport, Dart is expected to miss "some time," though he will likely be able to return this season if the injury is limited to a sprained MCL and no other ligament damage. In the likely scenario that Dart ends up missing games, Jameis Winston will be lined up to work as New York's starting quarterback.

  • Brian Burns LB | NYG

Giants' Brian Burns: Exits Monday's game

Burns (ankle) did not return to Monday's game against the Rams, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Burns exited the game in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury. With the Giants down three scores when Burns exited, it's likely he would been held out the rest of the way even if he was cleared. The 28-year-old's left ankle appeared to be rolled up on by a Rams offensive lineman, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reported.

  • Andrew Thomas OT | NYG

Giants' Andrew Thomas: Questionable to return to MNF

Thomas (groin) is questionable to return to Monday's game against the Rams, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Thomas sustained a groin injury in the fourth quarter of Monday's contest. The Giants were already down by three scores at the time of Thomas' exit, so it is unlikely the left tackle will return to the contest regardless of the verdict on his ability to play.

  • Ravens' Devontez Walker: Low snap count in loss

Walker caught one of his two targets for 47 yards in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Saints.

Walker saw 17 of the Ravens' 58 offensive snaps in Sunday's contest. The wide receiver also saw eight special-teams snaps. Walker saw nearly half as many offensive snaps as LaJohntay Wester (31), even though Zay Flowers (hamstring) was unavailable. The 2024 fourth-rounder sees most of his usage as a deep threat, but he appears hard-pressed to expand his role much beyond that of an occasional deep threat.

  • Ravens' LaJohntay Wester: Catches one target in loss

Wester caught one of his two targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Saints.

Wester was asked to step up with wide receiver Zay Flowers (hamstring) unavailable. The wide receiver played 31 of 58 offensive snaps but only saw two targets in the contest. Wester doesn't lack for speed, but it appears he may not be quite ready to handle a full role in the Ravens' offense.

  • Cooper Kupp WR | SEA

Seahawks' Cooper Kupp: Gains 20 receiving yards Week 2

Kupp caught both of his targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 31-7 victory versus Arizona.

Kupp wasn't very productive, but that was the case for all of Seattle's wideouts aside from Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who dominated with nine catches for 155 yards and one touchdown. The only other Seahawks player to log more than Kupp's two targets was Rashid Shaheed, who put up a 3-35-0 line on six targets. Through two weeks, Kupp has tallied a modest four receptions for 55 yards. With Smith-Njigba dominating the targets in Seattle's passing game, Kupp may struggle to put up consistent production this season.

  • Falcons' Zachariah Branch: Catches both targets in loss

Branch caught both of his targets for 14 yards and returned one punt for seven yards in Sunday's 34-3 loss against the Panthers.

Branch saw 14 offensive snaps and 11 special-teams snaps in Sunday's contest. The wide receiver had a better Week 2 performance after not showing up in the box score for the Falcons' Week 1 loss to the Steelers. Branch remains the No. 1 punt returner for the team as well as a depth option at wide receiver.

  • Rashid Shaheed WR | SEA

Seahawks' Rashid Shaheed: Three catches in blowout win

Shaheed caught three of six targets for 35 yards while also adding a four-yard rush, 29 yards on three punt returns and two kickoff returns for 47 yards during Sunday's 31-7 win over Arizona.

Shaheed found himself more involved as a pass catcher during Week 2, finishing second on the team in both targets and catches behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba. The wide receiver logged 39 snaps on offense, which was nine more than Cooper Kupp (30) in the contest. Shaheed will look to continue to establish himself as the No. 2 option at wide receiver Week 3 versus the Commanders.

  • Austin Hooper TE | ATL

Falcons' Austin Hooper: Records two catches in loss

Hooper caught two of his four targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 34-3 loss to the Panthers.

Hooper's target tally was fairly robust considering his role as the No. 3 tight end. The 31-year-old saw the second-most targets for the Falcons on Sunday, finishing behind only wide receiver Drake London. For as long as either Cooper Rush or Jack Strand is at the helm of the offense, Hooper's large catch radius and experience could keep netting him consistent attention and production.

  • Falcons' Olamide Zaccheaus: Plays versatile role in loss

Zaccheaus caught one of three targets for three yards while returning four kickoffs for 79 yards in Sunday's 34-3 loss to the Panthers.

Zaccheaus played 30 offensive snaps and seven special-teams snaps in Sunday's contest. The veteran wideout's versatility is valued, although he remains down the depth chart for the time being.
