Dre'Mont Jones LB | NE
Patriots' Dre'Mont Jones: Tagged as questionable Week 2
Jones (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Steelers.
Jones was a limited participant in all three practice sessions this week due to a foot injury, which he may have picked up during the Patriots' Week 1 loss to the Seahawks, when he logged two tackles (one solo), including 1.0 sacks. Rookies Gabe Jacas and Quintayvious Hutchins would both operate in elevated roles at the edge rusher position if Jones is not cleared to play against Pittsburgh.

Paulson Adebo CB | NYG
Giants' Paulson Adebo: Placed on injured reserve
The Giants placed Adebo (knee) on injured reserve Friday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.
Adebo suffered a significant knee injury during last Sunday's win over the Cowboys. The cornerback made three solo tackles on 10 defensive snaps before exiting the game. The 27-year-old will now need to miss at least four games before he is eligible to return from IR. The Giants signed cornerback Nikko Reed to the active roster from the Chargers' practice squad in a corresponding move.

Deane Leonard CB | LAC
Chargers' Deane Leonard: Questionable for Sunday vs. Raiders
Leonard (abdomen) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus Las Vegas.
Leonard sat out Week 1 with an abdominal injury, but he was able to return to practice in a limited capacity during the week, at least giving him a chance to suit up in Week 2. With that said, if he is sidelined again Sunday, it could mean a small increase in work for undrafted rookie Rodney Shelley.

Chris Jones DE | KC
Chiefs' Chris Jones: Listed as questionable for Week 2
Jones (calf) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Colts, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Jones was limited at practice all week because of a nagging calf issue, but the same applied throughout Week 1 prep before he ultimately played through the issue in Monday night's win over the Broncos. If Jones can't do the same Sunday, rookie first-rounder Peter Woods would stand to benefit in terms of defensive snaps.

DeMarvion Overshown LB | DAL
Cowboys' DeMarvion Overshown: Won't play Sunday
Overshown (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Commanders, Tommy Yarrish of the Cowboys' official site reports.
Coach Brian Schottenheimer had already announced that the starting inside linebacker was set to miss 1-to-2 weeks due to the hamstring issue he suffered in last Sunday's loss to the Giants. Overshown's status for Week 2 is not surprising, and the 26-year-old could end up missing the team's Week 3 game against the Ravens if he continues to miss practice due to injury.

Mansoor Delane CB | KC
Chiefs' Mansoor Delane: Questionable for Sunday
Delane (shoulder) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Colts, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Delane was limited at practice Friday after practicing in full Wednesday and Thursday, suggesting he suffered some sort of setback during the week. If he can't suit up in Week 2, it could mean increased reps at corner for Kristian Fulton.

James Williams LB | TEN
Titans' James Williams: Questionable due to elbow injury
Williams (elbow) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports.
Williams may have picked up the injury during the Titans' Week 1 loss to the Jets, when he logged one assisted tackle while contributing on both special teams and defense. His injury limited his participation in all three practice sessions this week, and his status for Sunday's contest may not be officially known until Tennessee announces its list of inactive players 90 minutes before kickoff at 1:00 p.m. ET. Owen Pappoe would be in line for an expanded role on defense if Williams is not cleared to play.
-
Cedric Gray LB | TEN
Titans' Cedric Gray: Questionable for Week 2
Gray (concussion) was a full participant in Friday's practice but is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports.
Gray logged back-to-back full practices to end the week, but in order to be available for Week 2, he'll need to clear an evaluation by an independent neurologist to exit the league's concussion protocol. James Williams (elbow) is also listed as questionable, so the Titans enter the weekend with Cody Barton, Owen Pappoe and rookie second-rounder Anthony Hill as the only healthy linebackers on the active roster. Gray's status for Sunday's contest may not be officially known until the Titans announce their list of inactive players approximately 90 minutes before the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

Malik Hooker FS | DAL
Cowboys' Malik Hooker: Ruled out for Sunday
Hooker (forearm) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Commanders, Tommy Yarrish of the Cowboys' official site reports.
Hooker was unable to practice throughout Week 2 as he dealt with the forearm fracture he suffered during last Sunday's loss to the Giants. The Cowboys' starting free safety will likely need to miss even more time as he recovers from the injury, leaving P.J. Locke to suit up as the starter in the interim.

Chamarri Conner DB | KC
Chiefs' Chamarri Conner: Out for Week 2
Conner (knee) is officially listed as out for Sunday's game versus the Colts, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Conner was unable to practice during the week as he continues to recover from a knee injury he sustained during the preseason, and he'll have to wait at least one more game to make his season debut. In his stead, 2024 fourth-rounder Jaden Hicks projects to get another start at safety Sunday.
