Teddye Buchanan LB | BAL
Ravens' Teddye Buchanan: Missing second straight game
Buchanan (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Saints.
Buchanan missed the Ravens' Week 1 win over the Colts as he continues to recover from the ACL tear he suffered in Week 12 of the 2025 season. The inside linebacker was once again limited in practice throughout the week. Buchanan did not start the regular season on IR, so the team likely expects to have the 23-year-old back by Week 4, at the latest, for a matchup against the Titans.

Dawson Knox TE | BUF
Bills' Dawson Knox: Finds end zone in TNF victory
Knox caught both of his passes for five yards and a touchdown during the Bills' 41-31 win over the Lions on Thursday.
Knox was on the field for 56 of the Bills' 74 offensive snaps to mostly serve as a run blocker, though he was found by Josh Allen for a one-yard touchdown pass early in the second quarter to give the Bills a 21-0 lead. Dalton Kincaid is off to a hot start to the year, but Knox is a dark-horse candidate to see an uptick in targets from Allen if DJ Moore (shoulder) were to miss time. Up next for the Bills is a Week 3 home tilt Sunday, Sept. 27 against the Chargers, who allowed a 9-95-1 line on 12 targets to Trey McBride in a Week 1 loss to the Cardinals.

Nnamdi Madubuike DT | BAL
Ravens' Nnamdi Madubuike: Ruled out once again
Madubuike (neck) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Saints.
Madubuike logged a trio of limited practices for a second consecutive week, but he'll remain out in Week 2. The defensive tackle is still recovering from a significant neck injury he sustained last September but should be ready to suit up in Week 3 or Week 4, given he wasn't placed on IR at the start of the regular season.

Isaac TeSlaa WR | DET
Lions' Isaac TeSlaa: Logs first catches of 2026
TeSlaa caught two passes (on five targets) for 26 yards during the Lions' 41-31 loss to the Bills on Thursday.
TeSlaa did not record a catch during the Lions' Week 1 overtime win over the Saints, but the second-year pro hauled in his first pass from Jared Goff on the season with a six-yard reception early in the third quarter before the duo connected on a 20-yard pass in the fourth. TeSlaa played 49 of the Lions' 65 offensive snaps in Thursday's loss, but he's clearly below Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, tight end Sam LaPorta and running back Jahmyr Gibbs in Detroit's pecking order. Courtesy of their TNF showdown, the Lions will have additional rest before a Week 3 home tilt against the Jets on Sunday, Sept. 27.

Billy Bowman Jr. CB | ATL
Falcons' Billy Bowman: Sidelined versus Carolina
Bowman (Achilles) is listed as out for Sunday's game against the Panthers.
Despite logging a full practice Friday, Bowman won't suit up for the Week 2 meeting with Carolina. With A.J. Terrell (shoulder) questionable, Atlanta may need to lean more on Avieon Terrell and C.J. Henderson.
-
A.J. Terrell CB | ATL
Falcons' A.J. Terrell: Questionable to play Sunday
Terrell (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus Carolina.
Terrell didn't practice Wednesday but logged a full session Thursday. However, he was absent again Friday, resulting in a questionable designation. With Billy Bowman (Achilles) already ruled out, Avieon Terrell and C.J. Henderson may be tasked with taking on more prominent roles alongside Mike Hughes.
-
Tyson Campbell CB | CLE
Browns' Tyson Campbell: Uncertain to play in Week 2
Campbell (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus Tampa Bay, Kelsey Russo of the Browns' official site reports.
Campbell didn't practice Thursday but logged a limited session Friday, so there's hope concerning his availability against the Buccaneers. If the ankle injury prevents Campbell from getting on the field, Noah Igbinoghene or Mekhi Blackmon may fill in and line up opposite Denzel Ward.

Devontez Walker WR | BAL
Ravens' Devontez Walker: Should contribute on offense
With Zay Flowers (hamstring) listed as doubtful, Walker should have a role on offense in Sunday's game against the Saints, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.
Walker missed Week 1 with a groin injury and now joins an offense that's likely without Flowers and won't have Ja'Kobi Lane (IR - wrist) for at least the next four weeks. Veteran starter Rashod Bateman is the de facto No. 1 receiver, with Walker, LaJohntay Wester, Chris Moore and Elijah Sarratt all candidates for significant playing time as well. Walker was in competition with Lane this summer for the No. 3 receiver job alongside Flowers and Bateman.
-
Chop Robinson LB | MIA
Dolphins' Chop Robinson: Unavailable versus San Francisco
Robinson (concussion) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game versus the 49ers, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Robinson logged 42 defensive snaps in the 27-13 loss to the Raiders in Week 1. However, he suffered a concussion during practice Wednesday and has since been ruled out for the Week 2 meeting with San Francisco. Without Robinson in the equation, Robert Beal and Malik Herring are candidates for more playing time.

Xavier Hutchinson WR | HOU
Texans' Xavier Hutchinson: Stepping up in Collins' absence
Hutchinson will have a key role for the Texans in the absence of Nico Collins (hamstring) this Sunday against Cincinnati, Aaron Wilson of SportsTalk790AM reports.
In the season opener, Hutchinson finished second among the team's wide receivers in route share (69 percent) and target share (16.2 percent), catching three of six targets for 32 yards. He's struggled to draw targets over the years even when he gets considerable playing time, but this could be somewhat different because the team's WR depth looks thinner than in past years. Kayshon Boutte, Jaylin Noel and Jared Wayne also figure to have roles against the Bengals on Sunday.
