Despite a slow start to his first season, Bryant became a more important part of the Broncos' aerial attack as the campaign progressed. The rookie wideout worked his way up the depth chart to operate as Denver's No. 3 receiver, averaging six targets per game across his final four regular-season contests. Bryant suffered a hamstring injury in the second quarter of the AFC Championship Game loss to the Patriots, which led to him ultimately being ruled out for the second half of the game. Assuming the 23-year-old is back to full strength before next season, he should play a significant role as a pass catcher in head coach Sean Payton's offense alongside fellow receivers Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin. Bryant's continued development and the overall improvement of Denver's offense could allow the Illinois product to take a major step forward in 2026.

Skinner underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum Tuesday, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.

Skinner posted on his Instagram account that he played the "whole season" with his "labrum tore all around." The third-year safety also suffered a quadriceps injury during the postseason and was inactive for the AFC Championship Game versus New England. Skinner played just 34 defensive snaps over 17 games during the regular season but was a core special-teamer for the Broncos.

Al-Shaair had thumb surgery Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

The linebacker is expected to make a full recovery, but it remains to be seen if the surgery will impact Al-Shaair's availability for OTAs. He recorded 103 tackles and a career-high nine passes defended, including two interceptions, over 16 regular-season games in 2025.

The Commanders signed Way to a one-year extension Tuesday, Ben Standig of Big 100 Washington D.C. reports.

Way will remain in Washington for the 2026 campaign, where he has spent the entirety of his 12-year career. The 35-year-old punted 56 times for 2,651 yards in 2025 and had 29 punts downed inside the 20-yard line.

Russell underwent hand surgery the day after Seattle's 31-27 NFC Championship win over the Rams, Brady Henderson of ESPN reports.

Russell managed to play through his injury during the Seahawks' Super Bowl win over the Patriots, when he led the team in special-teams snaps. The 27-year-old will have the offseason to get back to full health before the start of the 2026 campaign.

Akers reverted to Seattle's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Akers was elevated to the active roster for the Super Bowl but ended up playing just four snaps, all of which came on special teams. The 26-year-old spent time with both the Vikings and Seahawks during the 2025 campaign, appearing in six regular-season games and rushing for 19 yards on five carries.

The 28-year-old was elevated to the active roster ahead of the Super Bowl and played 23 snaps on special teams, downing a Michael Dickson punt on New England's two-yard line. Jones appeared in three regular-season games with the Seahawks during the 2025 season and rushed for 32 yards on four carries.

Johnson didn't see any playing time on offense during the Super Bowl but did return four kickoffs for 103 yards. The 29-year-old finished the 2025 campaign with 25 rushing yards on 13 attempts across seven regular-season games with the Patriots.

The Bills signed Buechele to a reserve/future contract Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Buechele is returning to Buffalo after spending the majority of the 2025 campaign on the team's practice squad. The 28-year-old also had a brief stint with Kansas City, appearing in one game and completing seven of 14 pass attempts for 88 yards. He could be a candidate to serve as the Bills' No. 3 quarterback during the 2026 season.

Havenstein announced his retirement from the NFL on Tuesday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.

Havenstein spent his entire 11-year career with the Rams after he was drafted by the franchise when it still played in St. Louis in the second round of the 2015 Draft. He appeared in 148 career regular-season contests, starting all of them, and won one Super Bowl with the team. Havenstein only made seven starts in 2025 after dealing with an ankle injury for most of the season. Warren McClendon started the final seven games of the regular season and all three playoff contests at right tackle for Los Angeles.
