Stone scored a goal on three shots and blocked two shots in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Hurricanes in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Stone has three goals and an assist over four games since he returned from a lower-body injury that cost him five contests. His tally Thursday came with 1:21 left in the third period, forcing overtime, though the Golden Knights lost anyway. Stone is up to six goals, five assists, 26 shots, 21 hits and a plus-1 rating over 13 playoff appearances. He's still a bit limited, though his 19:57 of ice time in Game 2 was his highest total since Game 5 of the first round, which was a double-overtime win over the Mammoth.

Stone scored a goal on two shots and added three hits in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Avalanche in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals. Stone opened the scoring at 4:42 of the first period after receiving an excellent pass from Brayden McNabb. The 34-year-old Stone has three points over his last two games, with his return helping the Golden Knights complete their sweep over the Avalanche. Stone will likely benefit from the rest ahead of the Stanley Cup Finals -- he is managing a lower-body issue that has seen him limited to the third line. He's earned five goals, five assists, 23 shots on net, 19 hits and a minus-1 rating over 11 playoff outings.

Stone (lower body) scored a power-play goal on three shots, dished an assist, added two PIM and logged four hits in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Avalanche in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals. Stone saw 15:45 of ice time in his return from a five-game absence. He had averaged 19:26 per game prior to the injury, which is likely one he'll have to manage pain with for the remainder of the postseason. Stone has four goals, five assists, 21 shots on net, 16 hits and a minus-2 rating over 10 playoff contests. All of his tallies have come with the man advantage.

Stone (lower body) will play against Colorado on Sunday in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports. Following a five-game absence, Stone could return to a top-six role and should see power-play time in Sunday's matchup against the Avalanche. He has produced three goals, seven points, 18 shots on net and 12 hits in nine outings this postseason.

Stone (lower body) has been ruled out for Friday's Game 2 against the Avalanche, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports. Stone was present for the Golden Knights' morning skate Friday, but he'll ultimately be sidelined for a fifth consecutive game due to his lower-body injury. Brett Howden will presumably continue to occupy a spot in the top six, while it's not yet clear whether Stone will be able to suit up for Sunday's Game 3 against Colorado.
