Verhaeghe scored a goal on three shots, added an assist, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Monday's 2-1 win over the Oilers in Game 7. Verhaeghe didn't do much in the Stanley Cup Finals, but he saved his best effort of the series for the last game. He posted four points over seven contests versus the Oilers and finished the postseason at 11 goals, 10 assists, 79 shots on net, 27 hits, 14 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating through 24 appearances. Verhaeghe is entering a contract year in 2024-25, as it's the final season of his three-year extension from 2021.

Verhaeghe is up to 10 goals this postseason, four of which he's scored over the last seven games. The 28-year-old forward converted after a spring pass from Aleksander Barkov in the first period, and that goal was all the Panthers needed to get the win. Verhaeghe continues to provide clutch offense in a top-line role with 18 points, 64 shots on net, 22 hits, 18 PIM and a plus-3 rating over 18 playoff outings.

Verhaeghe scored his ninth goal of the postseason in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win versus New York in Game 4. Verhaeghe extended his point streak to five games after potting a goal on the power play in Tuesday's win. The 28-year-old also fired four shots on net in 20:04 of ice time. Verhaeghe is up to six points in this series after notching just two points in Florida's second-round series versus Boston. In 15 postseason appearances to this point, Verhaeghe leads the team in goals with nine and is tied for second on the team in points with 17.

Verhaeghe set up a power-play goal by Sam Reinhart in the first period and also fed Aleksander Barkov for an even-strength tally in the third. The 28-year-old Verhaeghe has two goals and four assists during his active four-game point streak, a big turnaround after he had just one goal over the previous five contests. Overall, he's at 16 points, 55 shots, 20 hits, 16 PIM and a plus-3 rating through 14 playoff appearances.
