Weegar's offense has been more lively lately, as he's earned a goal and five helpers over his last six games. His effort Saturday included his 200th career assist, which he earned on a Mikael Backlund goal in the second period that ended up being the game-winner. Overall, Weegar is still digging out from a bad start -- he's at 11 points, 85 shots on net, 92 hits, 77 blocks, 35 PIM and a minus-19 rating through 36 appearances.

The 31-year-old will be a top-four fixture throughout the campaign, and he'll add plenty of production in the physical categories. His offense is likely to depend on the Flames' play as a whole, particularly on the power play, where he is occupying a spot on the first unit.

Weegar kept warm with his sixth point over the last nine games when he set up a Morgan Frost tally in the first period. The 31-year-old Weegar has a career-high 39 helpers this season, as well as a personal-best 21 power-play points. He's at 47 points, 182 shots on net, 223 hits, 188 blocked shots and a plus-18 rating across 80 appearances in an impressive all-around campaign for a blueliner.
