Hanifin scored twice on three shots, including one power-play goal, in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Oilers. Hanifin has five points, including three goals, over his last two contests. The defenseman tied the game midway through the third period and then scored the go-ahead goal with 49 seconds left. Hanifin is up to three tallies, eight points, 25 shots on net, 22 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating through 13 appearances. He looks to be over his slow start and should be a reliable source of all-around production on the blue line for the remainder of the year.

Hanifin scored a goal on six shots, added two assists, went plus-3 and logged two hits in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over Utah. Hanifin's goal was a buzzer-beater at the end of the second period, and it ignited his offense. He set up William Karlsson in the third and Brett Howden in overtime. Hanifin has doubled his point total for the year to six (one goal, five helpers), and he's added 22 shots on net, 21 blocked shots, 10 hits and a plus-5 rating across 12 contests. The 27-year-old is too talented to stay quiet for long, but his slow start to the year has cost him some premium power-play time, so his rebound on offense may be a modest one.

Hanifin notched a power-play assist, three shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 6-1 win over the Kings. Hanifin has endured a rough start to the campaign. The 27-year-old has just two assists to go with 10 shots on net, 13 blocked shots, six hits and a minus-1 rating over seven contests. After Hanifin began his Vegas tenure with 17 points (eight on the power play) over 26 games between the end of the regular season and the playoffs, it's a little shocking he's been less productive to begin 2024-25. Shea Theodore (illness) and Alex Pietrangelo have handled the power-play duties for the most part, leaving Hanifin in a more defensive role.

Hanifin scored a goal on three shots in Friday's 2-0 win over the Stars in Game 6. Hanifin's goal midway through the third period opened the scoring and stood as the game-winner. The 27-year-old defenseman has continued to be a strong part of the Golden Knights' blue line in the postseason, picking up two goals, three assists, 10 shots on net, 12 blocked shots, six hits and a minus-2 rating over six first-round appearances. Hanifin should continue to see significant minutes in all situations heading into Sunday's Game 7.

Hanifin scored a goal in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Stars in Game 2. Hanifin's tally late in the second period stood as the game-winner. The defenseman has three points over two playoff contests as he continues to show why Vegas was interested in trading for him in March. In addition to a top-pairing role at even strength, Hanifin is also seeing time on the first power-play unit and killing penalties, making him arguably the Golden Knights' most important blueliner thus far in the postseason.
