The 28-year-old center had a hand in both of Steven Stamkos' tallies and fired home his own goal late in the first period to give Tampa Bay a 3-0 lead. Point has two goals and five points through the series' first four games, and the Bolts may need another strong performance from him in Game 5 on Monday to avoid elimination.

The center has scored 11 of his 42 goals in March, and that's in just nine appearances this month. Point (lower body) is slated to play Wednesday versus Boston, according to Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic. Point wasn't in the lineup for Tampa Bay's 3-2 overtime win over Anaheim on Sunday due to the injury. He has 41 goals and 80 points in 70 appearances in 2023-24. Point is likely to serve on the top line and first power-play unit in his return while Austin Watson might be a healthy scratch.

Point was a late scratch Sunday and fortunately doesn't appear to be dealing with anything too serious. The 28-year-old has racked up 41 goals and 80 points through 70 games this season. He's been on a tear with 26 points over his last 16 appearances. Tampa Bay's next game is Wednesday against Boston.
