Dunn (upper body) is set to resume skating around Sunday, but he won't be ready to play for roughly three weeks, Alison Lukan of the Kraken Hockey Network reports. Dunn's already missed 10 games as of Friday, and it appears his absence will linger much longer than the minimum required by his placement on long-term injured reserve. Ryker Evans will continue to hold down a power-play role while Josh Mahura stays in the lineup during Dunn's absence.

Dunn (upper body) might start skating in the next few days, according to Mike Benton of the Kraken Audio Network. Dunn isn't eligible to be activated off long-term injured reserve until Nov. 12, and coach Dan Bylsma believes there's a chance the 28-year-old defenseman will be ready to play by that date. Dunn has a goal and three points in four appearances in 2023-24. When he's healthy, Dunn will likely serve in a top-four capacity and feature on the first power-play unit.

Dunn (upper body) was placed on long-term injured reserve Monday. Dunn won't be eligible to return until Nov. 12 against Columbus -- the move is retroactive to Oct. 17. Cale Fleury has been recalled from AHL Coachella Valley in a corresponding move. Dunn has picked up one goal, three points, 10 shots, 10 blocks and a minus-2 rating through four contests.

Dunn (undisclosed) won't play against the Flames on Saturday, the SoundofHockey.com reports. Coach Dan Bylsma said Saturday that Dunn is still being evaluated. He was injured Thursday versus the Flyers and missed the third period. Dunn has a goal and two assists with 10 blocked shots in four appearances this season. Look for Ryker Evans to replace him on the second power play while Josh Mahura draws into the lineup on the third defense pairing.

Dunn didn't play in the third period of Thursday's 6-4 win over the Flyers, but Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports that was for precautionary reasons. After the game, Dunn was present in the locker room, further supporting the notion that his absence is nothing to worry about at this time. The defenseman missed a game Sunday in Dallas with an upper-body injury sustained versus the Wild last Saturday. In 13:10 of ice time, Dunn put up an assist and blocked two shots in Thursday's game, giving him three points, 10 blocks and a minus-2 rating over four appearances this season. For now, it's safe to assume Dunn will be in the lineup Saturday versus the Flames -- if his status downgrades over the next couple of days, look for Ryker Evans to again move up the lineup while Josh Mahura would draw in on the third pairing.
