It's not quite the 40-goal campaigns he posted with Chicago, but he continues to be a dangerous offensive threat, putting up three goals and seven points over the last three games.

DeBrincat scored two goals Saturday in a 5-4 overtime win over the Maple Leafs. DeBrincat has five points (two goals, three assists) in his last two games, bringing him to 26 goals and 65 points (225 shots) in 80 games this season. The goals were his first in eight games, and he has just three in his last 21 games. DeBrincat had 27 goals, 66 points and 263 shots last season in Ottawa, so this season has been nearly identical.

With 24 goals and 39 assists through 79 games, DeBrincat is just three points shy of matching his 2022-23 campaign when he supplied 66 points in a full season with the Senators, but there's been a dip from a career-high 30 power-play points down to 18 in DeBrincat's first year as a Red Wing.

With the Red Wings down 1-0 in the second period, DeBrincat gave his team some life with a wrister to beat netminder Charlie Lindgren. DeBrincat added an assist, two shots and an even rating in 18:47 of ice time. With his tally, the winger broke a 12-game goal drought that dated back to Feb. 27 versus Washington.

DeBrincat notched two assists in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Islanders. The 26-year-old winger had a hand in tallies by Dylan Larkin in the second period and Patrick Kane in the third. It was DeBrincat's first multi-point performance since Feb. 25, but overall his first campaign with the Wings has gone well as he's produced 23 goals and 57 points through 70 contests.
