Werenski scored a power-play goal, blocked three shots and added two PIM in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Devils. Werenski continues to enjoy a strong December, though he hasn't logged a multi-point effort since Dec. 1. The defenseman has three goals and five assists over his last 11 contests, which is actually a bit of a decline in production. Overall, he's at 11 goals, 32 points (13 on the power play), 115 shots on net, 52 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating through 33 appearances this season. Werenski continues to return excellent value in fantasy while playing massive minutes for Columbus.

Werenski scored a goal Thursday in a 2-1 loss to the Capitals. Werenski is on a three-game, three-point, power-play scoring streak that includes two goals and one assist. He sits third in the NHL in scoring with 30 points (29 games), but most impressively, his 10 goals are the most among NHL blueliners. Werenski set a career-best mark in points (57) last season, but he's about to blow that finish out of the water. He's a fantasy pillar.

Werenski scored a goal Tuesday in a 5-3 loss to the Flyers. Werenski has nine goals this season, which ties him with Cale Makar for the NHL lead among defensemen. His 29 points are third-best for defenders. Werenski's best season to date came last year when he put up 11 goals and 57 points in 70 games. He's on pace to obliterate those numbers.

Werenski had an assist, two shots on goal and three blocked shots in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Oilers. Werenski helped out on a Kevin Labanc tally in the first period. The 27-year-old Werenski saw an eight-game, 16-point streak end in Tuesday's 3-0 loss to the Flames, but there's been little success for opposing teams trying to keep him quiet this year. The blueliner has eight goals, 19 helpers, 92 shots on net, 40 blocked shots and a plus-11 rating through 25 appearances. In addition to his NHL success, Werenski will represent Team USA at the 4 Nations Face-Off in February.

Werenski is on an eight-game point streak, picking up five goals and 11 helpers in that span. He helped out on goals by Sean Monahan and Dante Fabbro as the Blue Jackets took control of Sunday's win. Werenski's putting it all together this season with eight goals, 18 assist, 86 shots on net, 35 blocked shots and a plus-12 rating through 23 appearances. The 27-year-old has been one of the top defensemen in fantasy, and he can help managers in every category except hits.
