Jarvis scored a goal on two shots, added a power-play assist and went plus-2 in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Kraken. Jarvis has been on the third line at even strength lately but continues to be a factor with the man advantage. He helped out on Andrei Svechnikov's opening goal Saturday before adding an insurance tally of his own in the third period. Jarvis registered his first multi-point performance of the year, giving him six points (three on the power play), 17 shots on net, eight hits and an even plus-minus rating over seven outings this season.

Jarvis scored a power-play goal in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Flames. Jarvis snapped a three-game scoring drought with a power-play tally midway through the first period, giving him two goals on the year. The 22-year-old is coming off a career-best season in 2023-24, where he notched 67 points across 81 regular-season appearances, and he's up to four points in six outings in 2024-25. It's been a bit of a slow start for the winger, but he's cracked the scoresheet in four of his last five games, so he seems to be trending in the right direction.

Jarvis provided a power-play assist, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Friday's 4-1 win over the Penguins. Jarvis has opened the season with two points, six shots on net, six hits, four blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over three outings. The 22-year-old has played on the top line with Sebastian Aho and Andrei Svechnikov. Jarvis broke out to the tune of 33 goals and 67 points over 81 regular-season appearances in 2023-24, and if he remains on the Hurricanes' top line, a repeat performance is the expected minimum for him this year.

Jarvis scored a goal Tuesday in a 4-2 win over New Jersey. The goal was a great example of hard work and follow through. Jarvis was in the slot when a Devils player tried to knock the puck off his stick. He spun around and wired the puck over Jacob Markstrom's glove. Much is expected for Jarvis this season after he took a massive leap forward in both scoring and leadership in 2023-24. His 33 goals and 67 points put him second on the Canes' scoring list last year, and he'll be targeting another jump in production to near the point-per-game plateau.

Jarvis inked an eight-year, $63.2 million contract with the Hurricanes on Saturday. The 22-year-old forward had a career-best 33 goals and 34 assists in 81 regular-season games with the Hurricanes last season. He continued his outstanding play in the playoffs with five goals and nine points in 11 appearances. Jarvis will start the season on the top line, alongside Sebastian Aho and Andrei Svechnikov, as well as the first power-play unit and could hit the 80-point mark in 2024-25.
