  • Clarke scored a power-plat empty-net goal on four shots and added four blocked shots in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets. Clarke had been limited to one assist over the first four games of November after surging with seven points across the last four contests of October. The 21-year-old was able to put the cherry on top of the Kings' win Saturday with his second tally of the season. The defenseman has 13 points (six on the power play), 34 shots on net, 35 blocked shots, 18 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 16 outings. He looks to be here to stay in the NHL and has a good chance of producing a breakout campaign in his first full season.

Overall, he's at one goal, 10 assists, 21 shots on net, 19 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a plus-2 rating through 11 contests. • Clarke provided an assist and five shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Sharks. Clarke is looking good on offense with four points over his last three games. The defenseman has added a plus-3 rating and five blocked shots in that span, so he's no slouch in his own zone either. For the season, the 21-year-old has eight points, 19 shots on net, 19 blocks, 12 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 10 contests.

  • Clarke scored a goal and added an assist in a 3-2 win over Utah on Saturday. He got his first goal of 2024-25 during a second-period power play for the Kings. Clarke has three points (one goal, two assists) in his last two games and seven, including six assists, in nine contests this season. His six helpers have him tied with Anze Kopitar for the team lead. Clarke had a game-high four blocks Saturday, and he has 10 in his last four games. The 21-year-old is working to demonstrate that he's more than simply an offensive specialist. That's a work in progress, but so far, so good.

  • Clarke notched an assist and two shots on goal in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Sharks. Clarke had been held off the scoresheet in the previous three games, which earned him a drop back to the third pairing. The 21-year-old blueliner looks set to compete with Jordan Spence all season for premium minutes. Clarke has done well early on with five assists, 13 shots on net and 14 blocked shots, but he also has a minus-1 rating and 12 PIM through eight contests. Taking too many penalties could lead to a reduced role.
