Robertson underwent foot surgery to remove a cyst this offseason and will miss preseason games, Lia Assimakopoulos of The Dallas Morning News reports. Robertson is expected to be healthy in time for the Stars' first game of the year Oct. 10 versus the Predators. His absence should provide an opportunity for multiple players to audition for a top-six role, including rookies Logan Stankoven and Mavrik Bourque, though both may ultimately end up on the third line to begin 2024-25.

Robertson scored three goals and went plus-2 in Monday's 5-3 win over the Oilers in Game 3. Robertson entered Monday with no goals over his last 10 games. Part of that slump coincided with the absence of Roope Hintz, who returned from an upper-body injury and assisted on the first two goals of Robertson's hat trick in this comeback win. Robertson is up to six goals, 16 points, 33 shots on net, 23 hits, 19 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over 16 playoff appearances.

The winger is at 13 points, 28 shots on net, 23 hits, 19 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating through 14 playoff contests. Robertson continues to hold down a top-six role, and his increased physical play helps bolster his value in DFS formats.
