  Chatfield scored the game-winning goal in Tuesday's 3-2 victory over the Sharks. With less than three minutes left in the third period, Chatfield knocked down a clearing attempt and then flipped a knuckling shot through traffic that found its way under Vitek Vanecek's arm and into the back of the net. It was Chatfield's third goal of the season, but all three have come in the last 11 games, a stretch in which he's also supplied two helpers, 15 shots on net, 10 blocked shots, six hits and a plus-2 rating.

  Chatfield posted an assist and two shots on goal in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Panthers. Chatfield is humming along with four points over his last six games. He doesn't see more than traces of power-play time, but he's been impressive in a second-pairing role so far in 2024-25. Chatfield is at eight points, 31 shots on net, 22 blocked shots, 15 hits, 10 PIM and a plus-17 rating through 23 appearances. His defense stands out the most, but Chatfield is on pace to surpass his 22-point regular season from 2023-24, largely due to an increase of over three extra minutes of ice time per game.

  Chatfield scored a goal and blocked two shots in Saturday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Blue Jackets. Chatfield has three points and a plus-7 rating over his last four contests. The 28-year-old defenseman remains in a bottom-four role with next-to-nothing for power-play time, but he's finding ways to chip in some depth offense. For the season, he's at two goals, seven points, 26 shots on net, 22 blocked shots, 13 hits, 10 PIM and a plus-16 rating over 20 appearances. That scoring pace would be enough to surpass his career high of 22 points from 72 regular-season outings in 2023-24.

  Chatfield produced a goal and an assist in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Flyers. The 28-year-old blueliner opened the scoring only 30 seconds into the game by snapping a wobbly shot through traffic that Ivan Fedotov never picked up. It was Chatfield's first tally of the season, and through 18 games, he's contributed six points, 24 shots on net, 18 blocked shots, 12 hits, 10 PIM and a plus-14 rating.

  Chatfield notched three assists in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Penguins. He picked up a helper in each period, but Chatfield's big night has one blemish -- it was his hasty clearing attempt that set up Blake Lizotte for the third-period goal that spoiled Pyotr Kochetkov's shutout. Chatfield only had one point, an assist, through his first 11 games, so a repeat performance isn't likely any time soon.
