Svechnikov scored his fifth goal of the season in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Capitals. Svechnikov sealed the win for Carolina with an unassisted empty-net goal at 19:51 of the third period. In addition, the left-shot winger compiled five shots, one hit and two PIM in 17:34 of ice time. The skilled winger extended his point streak to five games Sunday, and he's produced four goals and three assists during that span. Overall, Svechnikov is up to five goals and six assists through 10 games, and he sits second on the team in points behind Martin Necas (18).

Svechnikov scored two power-play goals and added an even-strength assist in Thursday's 8-2 win over the Bruins. The 24-year-old winger has had a strong start to the season as part of a Carolina offense that has scored at least three goals in eight straight matches and sits seventh in the NHL with 3.89 goals per game. Svechnikov has gotten onto the scoresheet in four straight contests, and through nine outings he's collected four goals and 10 points. He hasn't stayed healthy for anything close to a full campaign since 2021-22 when he delivered 30 goals and 69 points in 78 regular-season games, but if Svechnikov can stay on the ice in 2024-25, a career-best season should follow for the second overall pick in the 2018 Draft.

Svechnikov recorded an assist and four shots on goal in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Flames. Svechnikov has found the scoresheet in four of the Hurricanes' first six games, earning a goal and four assists. He's seen consistent top-line minutes, putting him in a good position to maintain his pace. The winger has added 25 shots on net, nine hits, six PIM and a minus-1 rating. Svechnikov has historically been strong in shots, hits and PIM, though he's yet to maintain a point-per-game pace over a full season.

Svechnikov recorded one goal, one power-play assist, four PIM, eight shots and a hit in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Blues. Svechnikov is trending in the right direction after notching his first multi-point game of the campaign in this defeat, and he's also provided assists in three outings in a row. He's reached the 50-point plateau in each of his last three seasons, and while he's endured a slow start in the scoring column, Svechnikov's likely to ultimately extend that streak as long as he retains a top-six forward role.
