  • Hughes delivered an assist in Monday's 3-1 win over the Avalanche. Hughes set up Kiefer Sherwood's hat-trick goal, an empty-netter with 2:35 left in the third period, to record his 28th assist of the campaign. One of the most productive blueliners in the league and an outstanding playmaker, Hughes looks well on pace to record 60 assists for the fourth season in a row, and he might even surpass his career high of 75 assists from 2023-24.

  • Hughes notched two assists, including one on the power play, and two shots on goal in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Panthers. Hughes saw his seven-game point streak end in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Blues. The defenseman was right back at it Thursday, helping out on goals by Brock Boeser and Jake DeBrusk. Hughes is up to 34 points (14 on the power play) with 90 shots on net, 25 blocked shots, 19 PIM and a plus-10 rating over 28 outings this season. He's one of the top blueliners in the league, and his current scoring pace could put him on the cusp of a 100-point campaign if he maintains it.

  • Hughes netted a goal on four shots in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Lightning. Hughes opened the scoring in the first period by beating Andrei Vasilevskiy on the backhand. The goal extended Hughes' point streak to seven games, a span in which he's accumulated three goals and 10 helpers. The 25-year-old's 20:18 of ice time was his second-lowest mark of the season, which is surprising considering the game was tied late in the third period. Hughes is up to seven goals, 25 assists, 19 PIM, 84 shots on goal and a plus-9 rating through 26 contests. The star defenseman trails only Cale Makar for the league lead in points among blueliners.

  • Hughes had two assists, including one on the power play, and a plus-3 rating in Friday's 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets. Hughes' point streak is up to six games (two goals, 10 assists). He has earned a power-play point in five of those contests. The 25-year-old defenseman is in peak form and already has six goals, 25 helpers, 80 shots on net, 23 blocked shots, 19 PIM and a plus-8 rating through 25 appearances. Hughes is three points behind Cale Makar (34), though the former has played in two fewer games so far.

  • Hughes scored a power-play goal in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Wild. Hughes found twine midway through the first period to give the Canucks the lead, but Vancouver was unable to hold on and ended up losing in overtime. Hughes remains highly productive, however, and he's been one of the most productive blueliners in the NHL over the last few weeks from a fantasy perspective. He's currently riding a five-game point streak and has cracked the scoresheet in eight of his last nine outings, racking up 13 points (three goals, 10 assists) in that span.
