  • Harvey-Pinard (leg) was activated from long-term injured reserve and placed on waivers Saturday, according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports. Harvey-Pinard had been skating with AHL Laval on an LTI conditioning loan, and he will remain with Montreal's top minor-league affiliate if he clears waivers. The 25-year-old suffered a broken leg in July and hasn't played in a game at the NHL level this season. Harvey-Pinard has one goal in five AHL outings this campaign.

  • Harvey-Pinard (leg) was reassigned to AHL Laval on a long-term injury conditioning loan Tuesday. Harvey-Pinard has been skating with the team since the start of November but has yet to get into an actual game while working his way back from a broken leg suffered in July. Considering the 25-year-old winger saw action in only 45 regular-season contests last year, he is far from a lock for the Habs' lineup even once given the all-clear. Still, it's a step in the right direction for Harvey-Pinard to link up with the Rocket for several minor-league contests.

  • Harvey-Pinard (leg) was placed on long-term injured reserve Monday, per PuckPedia. After suffering a broken leg in July, Harvey-Pinard was given a timetable of at least four months for his recovery. He produced two goals, eight assists and 28 hits in 45 games during the 2023-24 regular season. Once healthy, he could push for a bottom-six role this campaign.

  • Harvey-Pinard suffered a broken leg that required surgery Thursday and will be sidelined for at least four months. Harvey-Pinard will miss training camp and at least the first month of the season due to the injury. The 25-year-old was slated to see bottom-six minutes in 2024-25 before suffering the broken leg. He will likely be replaced on the fourth unit by Joshua Roy. Harvey-Pinard had 14 goals and 20 points in 34 games during the 2022-23 campaign, but he slumped last season, scoring only twice while adding eight assists in 45 regular-season appearances.

  • Harvey-Pinard scored a goal during Monday's 5-4 overtime loss to Detroit. The goal has been a long time coming for Harvey-Pinard. That tally was just his second in 44 games this season, and his first in 27 contests. His paltry offensive production is a disappointment after the 25-year-old scored 14 times in 34 games last season, though the regression shouldn't come as a surprise after he shot 24.1 percent in 2022-23.
