  • Martin Necas C | COL

Avalanche's Martin Necas: Two helpers in Tuesday's loss

Necas notched two assists in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Islanders.

Necas has turned in back-to-back multi-point performances, as he's thrived since the trade that sent him west from Carolina. The 26-year-old actually led all Avalanche forwards in ice time Tuesday with 24:42, and with a spot alongside Nathan MacKinnon at even strength and on Colorado's top power-play unit, Necas' production could kick into overdrive. On the season, he's already racked up 16 goals and a career-high 59 points through 52 appearances.

  • Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Grabs helper Tuesday

Lindholm notched an assist in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to the Sabres.

Lindholm has a goal and four helpers over his last eight contests. Aside from a strong second half of December, he's enjoying one of his better stretches of the season. The center has eight goals, 17 assists, 85 shots on net, 82 hits, 56 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating over 52 appearances during the 2024-25 campaign.

  • Ryan McLeod C | BUF

Sabres' Ryan McLeod: Draws helper in win

McLeod produced an assist and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 7-2 win over the Bruins.

McLeod set up a Tage Thompson tally in the second period. This was McLeod's second game back from missing three contests due to an upper-body injury. Just before the injury, he was moved up to the first line, but he's played on the third line since his return, so his fantasy value is likely to remain fairly low. For the season, the 25-year-old center has 10 goals, 15 helpers, 51 shots on net and a plus-7 rating over 47 appearances.

  • Tomas Hertl C | LV

Golden Knights' Tomas Hertl: Points in 10 straight games

Hertl scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Stars.

The goal extended Hertl's point streak to 10 games (eight goals, six helpers), making him one of the hottest players in the league. The 31-year-old center has clicked on a line with Pavel Dorofeyev and Victor Olofsson, but Hertl has been the best of the three. For the season, he's contributed 19 goals, 40 points, 126 shots on net, 66 hits, 45 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating over 51 appearances.

  • Golden Knights' Pavel Dorofeyev: One of each in overtime loss

Dorofeyev scored a power-play goal on two shots and added an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Stars.

Dorofeyev was held off the scoresheet in the previous two contests. The winger has eight goals and four assists over his last nine outings, a span that includes four multi-point efforts. He's up to 22 goals, 33 points, 152 shots on net and a minus-7 rating over 51 appearances. Dorofeyev was cold in December and early January, but he's gotten himself back on track and should remain a solid winger to roster in most fantasy formats.

  • Jack Eichel C | LV

Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Stays hot with two points

Eichel scored a goal on three shots and added an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Stars.

The Golden Knights had one goal overturned early, but Eichel quickly got it back, opening the scoring for real at 1:54 of the first period. He has five goals and five assists during his seven-game point streak. The center continues to provide consistency in a top-line role, racking up 16 goals, 64 points, 155 shots on net, 36 blocked shots and a plus-27 rating over 50 appearances this season.

  • Matt Duchene C | DAL

Stars' Matt Duchene: Plucks apple in overtime win

Duchene notched an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Golden Knights.

Duchene set up Mavrik Bourque's first-period tally. The 34-year-old Duchene has five helpers over five contests since his last goal. The center is up to 18 goals, 30 assists, 86 shots on net and a plus-11 rating over 50 appearances. He's been one of the Stars' most consistent forwards this season, making him a strong fantasy forward, though he may dip from the near point-per-game pace he's displayed so far.

  • Stars' Mavrik Bourque: Deposits goal Tuesday

Bourque scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Golden Knights.

Bourque has four goals and two assists over his last 12 outings. His tally Tuesday tied this game at 1-1 in the first period. Bourque is up to six goals, 13 points, 52 shots on net, 25 hits, 22 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating through 45 appearances. His recent success has mostly come alongside Matt Duchene and Jamie Benn on the second line.

  • Stars' Wyatt Johnston: One-man comeback effort

Johnston recorded a natural hat trick, five shots on net and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Golden Knights.

Johnston's first goal was a shorthanded tally in the second period to spark the comeback. He scored again at even strength midway through the third and then tallied 20 seconds into overtime to complete the natural hat trick and the win for the Stars. Johnston has been fantastic lately with four goals and eight assists over his last eight contests while filling a top-line role. The 21-year-old is up to 14 goals, 42 points (10 on the power play, two shorthanded), 131 shots on net and a plus-9 rating over 50 appearances.

  • Kraken's Matty Beniers: Delivers helper in loss

Beniers notched an assist and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Ducks.

Beniers has a point in seven of his last nine games, earning four goals and three assists in that span. The 22-year-old has had few extended stretches of success this season, but he's played well since Kaapo Kakko was traded from the Rangers. Beniers is up to 11 goals, 18 helpers, 90 shots on net, 44 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating through 52 appearances.
