Alex Turcotte C | LA
Kings' Alex Turcotte: Opens scoring Friday
Turcotte scored a goal on three shots in Friday's 2-1 overtime win over the Jets.
Turcotte tallied at 4:39 of the second period, ending his seven-game goal drought. In that span, he racked up three assists. The 23-year-old continues to see even-strength minutes on the top line, but he hasn't elevated his offense to be in line with that assignment, and his ice time remains more like that of a middle-six forward. Turcotte has five goals, 11 helpers, 37 shots on net and a plus-12 rating through 34 appearances.

Colton Dach C | EDM
Blackhawks' Colton Dach: Adds helper Friday
Dach notched an assist and three hits in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Red Wings.
Dach has a helper in each of the last two games after opening his NHL career with two scoreless efforts. The 22-year-old continues to play on the third line at even strength, and in an offense as thin as Chicago's, there's no guarantee he'll be able to sustain decent scoring numbers. Dach has contributed eight shots on net, 10 hits and a minus-1 rating through four outings. Fantasy managers in redraft formats can afford to wait and see if he performs well over a larger sample.

Connor Bedard C | CHI
Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Point streak up to nine games
Bedard recorded an assist and four PIM in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Red Wings.
Bedard set up a Ryan Donato tally in the first period. The 19-year-old Bedard extended his point streak to nine games, and he's earned four goals and eight assists in that span. He's in a groove, which is all the more impressive given how inconsistent the Blackhawks' offense can be as a whole. For the season, he has 38 points, 101 shots on net, 20 PIM and a minus-16 rating through 42 appearances.

Teuvo Teravainen C | CHI
Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Tries to create comeback
Teravainen scored a pair of goals and blocked two shots in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Red Wings.
Teravainen got the Blackhawks within a goal in the third period, but his one-man comeback effort fell short. The winger hadn't scored since Dec. 15 versus the Islanders, but he racked up 10 assists over 10 contests between tallies. Teravainen is up to nine goals, 28 points, 65 shots on net and a minus-11 rating over 42 appearances. He's often been at his best as a playmaker, so don't be surprised if his production remains assist-heavy in the second half.

Ryan Donato C | CHI
Blackhawks' Ryan Donato: Scores in Friday's loss
Donato scored a goal on seven shots and added two PIM in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Red Wings.
Donato had nearly half of the Blackhawks' 15 shots as a team. The goal was his first since Dec. 17 versus the Capitals. He's picked up three points over his last five outings despite continuing to bounce around the lineup. For the season, the 28-year-old has produced 12 goals, 11 assists, 97 shots, 73 hits, 24 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 40 appearances.

Nick Suzuki C | MON
Canadiens' Nick Suzuki: Another OT winner
Suzuki scored a goal on six shots and blocked a shot in Friday's 3-2 overtime win over Washington.
Suzuki's attempted pass was broken up by Dylan Strome but the bounce went Suzuki's way, and he scored the game winner in overtime. It was the second consecutive game in which Suzuki won it in the extra period. The top line had a dry spell toward the end of December, but it's been clicking in the new year. Both Suzuki and Cole Caufield have points in five straight games.

Andrew Copp C | DET
Red Wings' Andrew Copp: Buries goal Friday
Copp scored a goal on two shots in Friday's 5-3 win over the Blackhawks.
Copp snapped a 12-game goal drought with his third-period tally. In that span, he logged five assists, 16 shots on net and a plus-3 rating. The 30-year-old has largely lost out on power-play time under new head coach Todd McLellan, but Copp remains firmly in the Red Wings' middle six. The center has eight goals, 17 points, 48 shots on net, 24 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over 41 appearances. That level of production probably won't intrigue most fantasy managers, especially since he doesn't add much of a physical edge.

Marco Kasper C | DET
Red Wings' Marco Kasper: Gets turn on top line
Kasper scored an empty-net goal on three shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-3 win over the Blackhawks.
Kasper entered Friday on a 15-game point drought while primarily seeing third-line usage. Reducing his ice time hadn't helped him out of the slump, so he was moved up to play alongside Dylan Larkin and Lucas Raymond, and that decision by head coach Todd McLellan paid off. Kasper helped out on Albert Johansson's tally, which was the game-winner, and then added an empty-netter to secure the win. The 20-year-old Kasper is a natural center, but a move to the wing may simplify things for him. He has three goals, nine points, 55 shots on net, 62 hits and a minus-9 rating through 36 appearances as a rookie this year.

Lars Eller C | OTT
Capitals' Lars Eller: Scores in loss
Eller scored a goal on one shot and had one hit in Friday's 3-2 overtime loss to Montreal.
Eller knotted the game at 2-2 early in the third period, beating rookie netminder Jakub Dobes to the glove side. It was his fourth goal since joining the Capitals in mid-November and just his second tally in the last 17 outings. The 35-year-old center, who entered Friday averaging 12:49 TOI per game with the Capitals, does not get as many shifts as he did with the Penguins (16:25 per game).

Klim Kostin C | SJ
Sharks' Klim Kostin: Injured Friday
Kostin sustained a lower-body injury and won't return to Friday's contest versus Utah.
Kostin has had some poor injury luck this season. This was his sixth game back from an upper-body injury, and he hasn't earned a point since his return. If Kostin can't suit up Saturday against the Wild, the Sharks may have to call up a forward or dress seven defensemen.
