  • Hockey Club's Kevin Stenlund: Puts away empty-netter

Stenlund scored an empty-net goal in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Flames.

Stenlund has just two goals over his last eight contests, though he had a five-game point streak prior to that. The 28-year-old fourth-line forward probably shouldn't be counted on for consistent offense. He's up to seven goals, 11 points, 51 shots on net, 30 blocked shots, 23 hits and a minus-9 rating through 38 outings overall. He needs four points to match his career-best total from the 2023-24 regular season with the Panthers.

  • Logan Cooley C | UTA

Hockey Club's Logan Cooley: Reaches 10-goal mark

Cooley scored a power-play goal on two shots in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Flames.

Cooley has two goals and two assists during his four-game point streak, with three of those points coming on the power play. The 20-year-old center played at a point-per-game pace in December (three goals, 10 assists in 13 contests) and looks set to stay hot in January. The Pennsylvania native is at 10 goals, 34 points, 74 shots on net, 29 hits, 22 PIM and a plus-7 rating over 38 outings this season.

  • Clayton Keller RW | UTA

Hockey Club's Clayton Keller: Two points in return

Keller scored a goal on three shots, dished a power-play assist and added two PIM in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Flames.

Keller missed one game due to an illness. He played 17:51 in this contest, which is on the lower end of his normal range of ice time. The 26-year-old winger has scored seven times and added eight assists over his last 10 outings. For the season, he has been a star on Utah's top line with 14 goals, 25 helpers, 15 power-play points, 96 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating through 37 appearances.

  • Max Domi C | TOR

Maple Leafs' Max Domi: Eight points in last nine games

Domi picked up an assist in a 2-1 win over the Islanders on Thursday.

Domi has three assists in his last four games and eight points (three goals, five assists) in his last nine games. His season overall has been rough -- Domi had just six assists in his first 23 games, but this run could be a sign that his cold streak is finally behind him.

  • Kyle MacLean C | NYI

Islanders' Kyle MacLean: Exits contest in third period

MacLean (undisclosed) did not return to Thursday's game versus the Maple Leafs after leaving in the third period, Ethan Sears of the New York Post reports.

There was no update on MacLean's status after the game. The 25-year-old could be replaced in the lineup by Matt Martin if he's unable to play Sunday versus the Bruins. MacLean has five points over 39 appearances this season, so his potential absence won't be noticed by most fantasy managers.

  • Bobby McMann C | SEA

Maple Leafs' Bobby McMann: 10 points in last nine games

McMann scored both Toronto goals in a 2-1 win over the Islanders on Thursday.

McMann has 10 points, including six goals, and 22 shots in his last nine games. He and linemates Max Domi and Nicholas Robertson outshot the Isles 8-2 at 5-on-5. McMann is a hidden gem in all formats right now.

  • Lightning's Jake Guentzel: Slated to play

Guentzel (upper body) was on the ice for warmups and is expected to play Thursday versus the Sharks, Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site.

Guentzel missed one game with the injury, but a longer break in the schedule due to traveling to California appears to have helped him get back in action quicker. Look for Guentzel to take his usual spot on the first line and top power-play unit. Cam Atkinson is set to be scratched to make room in the lineup.

  • Clayton Keller RW | UTA

Hockey Club's Clayton Keller: Set to return

Keller (illness) will return to the lineup Thursday versus the Flames, Cole Bagley of KSL Sports reports.

Keller missed Tuesday's game versus the Oilers due to the illness that is making its way through the Utah locker room. The 26-year-old Keller will jump back into the lineup while Matias Maccelli sits out while under the weather. Keller racked up six goals and nine assists over 12 contests in December.

  • Tyson Jost C | NSH

Hurricanes' Tyson Jost: Out long term

Jost (undisclosed) is expected to be out long term, according to Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site.

Jost has two goals, 12 PIM, 20 hits and 10 blocks in 16 appearances while playing primarily on the fourth line. Juha Jaaska, who was called up from AHL Chicago on Wednesday, might play regularly during Jost's absence.

  • Clayton Keller RW | UTA

Hockey Club's Clayton Keller: Game-time call Thursday

Keller (illness) will be a game-time decision heading into Thursday's clash with Calgary, Cole Bagley of KSL Sports reports.

Keller was nearly unstoppable prior to getting sick, racking up 17 points in his last 13 outings and registering at least a point in 10 of those appearances. With Keller on the shelf versus Edmonton on Tuesday, Matias Maccelli was shifted into a top-six role and will likely remain there if Keller can't play Thursday.
