  • Flames' Mikael Backlund: Buries goal Sunday

Backlund scored a goal on two shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Lightning.

Backlund snapped a three-game skid with the second-period tally. He gave the Flames a 3-1 lead, but it didn't last. The 37-year-old center continues to be a leader on offense with 16 goals, 39 points, 167 shots on net and a plus-10 rating over 70 contests for the low-scoring Flames. Overall, Backlund's offense is still fairly modest, though he'll have some appeal in deeper fantasy formats.

  • Leo Carlsson C | ANA

Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Dishes pair of helpers

Carlsson recorded two power-play assists and three shots on goal in Sunday's 6-5 overtime win over the Sabres.

Carlsson set up Chris Kreider's first-period tally and also helped out on Mikael Granlund's equalizer late in the third. Carlsson has earned three goals and three assists over his last four games, and his effort Sunday gave him his first power-play points since Feb. 27 versus the Jets. The top-line center is up to 58 points (16 on the power play), 150 shots on net, 31 PIM and a plus-1 rating across 58 outings.

  • Ducks' Mikael Granlund: Nets equalizer Sunday

Granlund scored a power-play goal on two shots in Sunday's 6-5 overtime win over the Sabres.

Granlund has scored in back-to-back contests since he shook off a six-game slump. The Ducks look to have a battle opening up for the second-line center job, with Granlund and Mason McTavish competing for those minutes. Granlund has 14 goals, 29 points (six on the power play), 90 shots on net and a minus-11 rating over 46 appearances this season, but his ability to handle all situations and his veteran leadership could help him keep the spot over McTavish as the Ducks look to keep their claim to the top spot in the Pacific Division.

  • Golden Knights' Raphael Lavoie: Buries pair of goals for Henderson

Lavoie scored twice in AHL Henderson's 7-2 win over Texas on Sunday.

Lavoie has six multi-point efforts during a seven-game point streak, earning nine goals and six assists in that span. The 25-year-old forward is up to 22 goals and 41 points across 34 appearances this season. He's been good in the AHL but has no points in 17 NHL contests over the last three campaigns.

  • Kraken's Oscar Fisker Molgaard: Four-point burst in AHL win

Fisker Molgaard scored twice and added two assists in AHL Coachella Valley's 4-3 overtime win over Colorado on Sunday.

Fisker Molgaard had his best game of the season to lead the Firebirds to this win. He has three goals and eight assists over 11 contests since the start of February. The 21-year-old is at 10 goals, 32 points and a plus-4 rating over 46 appearances. He also has an assist over three NHL outings with the Kraken.

  • Sabres' Konsta Helenius: Hat trick for Rochester

Helenius scored three goals in AHL Rochester's 6-3 win over Hartford on Sunday.

Helenius ended his multi-game drought that stemmed back to January with this big outing. For the season, Helenius is up to 18 goals, 48 points, 123 shots on net and a minus-9 rating over 50 appearances. The 19-year-old has done well over two years in the AHL, so it doesn't look like it'll be long before he gets an NHL opportunity.

  • Jack Nesbitt C | PHI

Flyers' Jack Nesbitt: Hat trick in Sunday's win

Nesbitt scored three goals in OHL Windsor's 5-3 win over Sault Ste. Marie on Sunday.

Nesbitt ended the regular season hot with seven goals and six assists during a seven-game point streak. The Flyers prospect is up to 25 goals and 58 points over 55 appearances. He was a little better on a point-per-game pace with 1.05 this year compared to 0.98 over 65 regular-season outings a year ago.

  • Ethen Frank C | WAS

Capitals' Ethen Frank: Leaves Sunday early

Frank (lower body) left Sunday's game against the Avalanche in the first period and won't return.

The injury occurred after Frank collided hard into the post while driving to the net in the first period. The 28-year-old has 24 points (12 goals, 12 assists) in 59 games on the season. It remains to be seen if he'll be forced to miss more time than the rest of Sunday. If he doesn't suit up Tuesday against the Blues, it would be his first absence from the lineup since November.

  • Connor Zary C | CGY

    Flames' Connor Zary: Considered day-to-day

Zary (upper body) is day-to-day and isn't expected to play against Tampa Bay on Sunday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.

Zary will miss at least one game after being injured in Friday's 4-1 win over Florida. He didn't participate in Sunday's morning skate, making it unclear if he will be ready for Tuesday's matchup against the Kings. Zary has generated 11 goals, 24 points, 99 shots on net and 44 hits through 67 appearances this season.

  • Ross Colton C | COL

Avalanche's Ross Colton: Will miss Sunday

Colton (upper body) isn't in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Capitals, Corey Masisak of The Denver Post reports.

Colton will miss a sixth consecutive game, as he didn't take the ice for warmups ahead of Sunday's contest. The 29-year-old has 23 points (eight goals, 15 assists) in 60 games on the season. His next chance at a return will be Tuesday on the road against the Penguins.
