  • Frank Nazar C | CHI

Blackhawks' Frank Nazar: Nets PP goal Monday

Nazar scored a power-play goal in Monday's 3-2 overtime win over the Mammoth.

Nazar pushed his current point streak to four games after lighting up the lamp with the game-winner in overtime, assisted by Connor Bedard and Teuvo Teravainen. Nazar has six points (two goals, four assists) during his current point streak, and the 22-year-old should continue to find opportunities to produce while holding a top-six role on offense and a spot in the first line of power-play duties.

  • Lightning's Gage Goncalves: Returning to action

Goncalves (lower body) will be in the lineup for Tuesday's home contest versus Columbus, per Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site.

Goncalves missed the last four games as a result of his lower-body issue. The 25-year-old skated on the second line with Jake Guentzel and Brayden Point during Tuesday's morning skate, and Goncalves also worked with the No. 2 power-play unit, both of which boost his fantasy outlook.

  • Maple Leafs' Benoit-Olivier Groulx: Promoted from minors

Groulx was recalled from AHL Toronto on Tuesday.

Groulx is not guaranteed to be in the lineup versus the Habs on Tuesday, but he should at least be under consideration. The 26-year-old center hasn't featured in an NHL game since back in 2023-24 when he logged 45 games for the Ducks. Still, Groulx has put up fantastic numbers in the minors, racking up 27 goals and 23 assists in 54 games with the Marlies, certainly making his case for NHL minutes.

  • Sam Reinhart C | FLA

Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Missing first game of 2025-26

Reinhart (undisclosed) will not be an option for Tuesday's home matchup versus Detroit, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.

Reinhart will miss his first game of the season Tuesday, but head coach Paul Maurice expects the 30-year-old winger to be back in the lineup Thursday against Columbus. Vinnie Hinostroza is set to make his Panthers debut due to Reinhart's absence. Reinhart has 28 goals, 59 points, 163 shots and a minus-18 rating over 63 appearances this campaign.

  • Panthers' Aleksander Barkov: Skating in non-contact jersey

Barkov (knee) took the ice Tuesday in a non-contact sweater, George Richards of Florida Hockey Now reports.

Barkov continues to work his way back from a long-term knee problem that required surgery back in September. With the Cats having basically waved the white flag on this season, there is no reason to rush the veteran center back into the lineup. Still, Barkov probably would benefit from getting into a handful of games this year to shake off the rust if he is cleared in time.

  • Rangers' Vincent Trocheck: Big night on power play

Trocheck notched three power-play assists in Monday's 6-2 win over the Flyers.

The veteran center sat out last Thursday's game in case the Rangers had been able to work out a trade for him, but that hiccup hasn't interrupted Trocheck's momentum. He's gotten onto the scoresheet in five straight appearances, and over his last 14 games, Trocheck has piled up a goal and 16 points, with seven of his helpers coming on the power play.

  • Rangers' Mika Zibanejad: Three-point outburst Monday

Zibanejad scored two goals, one on the power play, and he added a power-play assist in Monday's 6-2 win over the Flyers.

The Rangers' power play struck three times in the victory, and Zibanejad's second tally late in the second period gave the visitors a 5-1 lead. It was the veteran center's second three-point performance in the last three games, and on the season, he's piled up 27 goals and 59 points in 62 contests.

  • Flames' Yegor Sharangovich: Nets second shortie of game

Sharangovich tallied a shorthanded goal and fired three shots on net in Monday's 7-3 loss to Washington.

Sharangovich converted the second shorthanded goal for the Flames in 76 seconds, scoring on the same penalty kill as Blake Coleman's goal. With the twine finder, Sharangovich is up to 13 goals, 23 points, 113 shots on net and 25 blocked shots across 59 games this season. Since the beginning of March, the 27-year-old winger has been heating up with two goals and three points over five games. If his string of solid performances offensively continues, he could provide sneaky value as a temporary streaming option in deep leagues.

  • Flames' Blake Coleman: Tallies shorthanded goal in loss

Coleman scored a shorthanded goal, fired six shots on net, blocked two shots and dished out two hits in Monday's 7-3 loss to the Capitals.

Coleman buried the first of two shorthanded goals in the second period for Calgary, as he dangled the puck in front of Washington netminder Logan Thompson before placing it top shelf. Coleman led the Flames' forwards statistically, garnering the largest number of shots on net, blocked shots and hits in the game. Overall, he is up to 15 goals, 25 points, 124 shots on net, 123 hits and 35 blocked shots across 51 games this season. His recent offensive output of four points in as many games and strong category coverage are two compelling reasons to roster Coleman in deep fantasy leagues for the time being.

  • Kings' Scott Laughton: Two-point effort Monday

Laughton produced a goal and an assist in Monday's 5-4 overtime win over Columbus.

The veteran center opened the scoring early in the first period, redirecting a feed from Brian Dumoulin past Jet Greaves from in close. The move to the West Coast is agreeing with Laughton -- he has two goals and three points in his first two games with the Kings, while skating on the third line at even strength and seeing shifts with the second power-play unit.
