Schmaltz logged two assists, including one on the power play, and two PIM in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Flyers.

Schmaltz has five points over his last three games and a total of six goals and seven helpers through 10 outings in January. Hayton has tallied in consecutive contests after going 13 games without a goal. The 25-year-old center is still in a top-six role with power-play time, which should allow him to get his offense back on track. For the season, he's earned 15 points (four on the power play), 73 shots on net, 22 blocked shots, 34 PIM and a plus-4 rating across 45 appearances.

  • Maple Leafs' Steven Lorentz: Chips in with helper

Lorentz has gone 14 games without a goal, picking up four assists, 29 hits, 18 shots on net and a plus-4 rating in that span. While his offense has been middling for much of the season, he's seen steady time on the fourth line. He's now at 14 points, 47 shots on net, 93 hits, 26 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over 43 appearances. Lorentz has come up one point shy of 20 on two different occasions in his career, but he's on pace to reach that threshold in 2025-26.

  • Dylan Larkin C | DET

Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Plays OT hero in Toronto

Larkin scored the overtime winner and added an assist in Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Maple Leafs.

After helping to set up Simon Edvinsson for Detroit's opening tally late in the first period, Larkin took advantage of a giveaway by Easton Cowan at center ice to convert a two-on-nothing break for the Wings. The GWG was Larkin's seventh of the season, adding to what was already a new career high. The 29-year-old center also extended a modest point streak to three games, and through 10 contests in January he's produced four goals and nine points.

Dvorak recorded two goals, including one on the power play, and an assist in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Mammoth.

Dvorak snapped a four-game pointless skid with a three-point effort, and this was his first multi-point outing since Dec. 11, when he recorded two assists in a loss to the Golden Knights. Dvorak is on the verge of posting career-best numbers in his first year with the Flyers. He's up to 33 points (12 goals, 20 assists) in 48 games, and his previous career-best mark was 38 points in the 2019-20 campaign.
